Championship at Colony West Country Club

We enjoy the layout of this course but not anymore. The fairways are so hard that your ball bounces everywhere when it lands. Several holes have side water hazards so guess what…Even though you play the course strategically there’s no control on the result because of the bounces. There’s definitely no irrigation going on. It’s literally like cement. The greens were decent and very fast for most of them. Definitely a frustrating day of golf even for a low handicap player. Won’t be back until I hear about better conditions and irrigation back on track.

This course is nice with a good layout. It’s just way over priced. This looked and played like it should been $50 instead of $80. Greens were not the best. Pace of play. Needs to improve. We were stacked you 3 4somes on a tee box at times. Would return for a discounted rate but don’t want to pay $80+ I shot +15 from the tips

Please if you care about your day and golf experience please trust me and NEVER come to this course. Absolute worst experience all around golfing you could ever have.

I scheduled a solo tee time as a local resident and showed up to the course to play and they somehow lost my group. There were two massive “games” going on and the starter tried to send me out as a single. I immediately was backed up before I could even finish hole 1 which had 3 groups on the same hole.

I then drive into the club house to request a refund. They tell me I have to contact golf now. Golf now is on hold with them for 20 minutes trying to get in contact with the pro shop. I then tried to call the pro shop myself and right away a person answered and said “please hold” before i could even speak.

Oh and forgot to mention my cart went .2 miles per hour.

Overall awful experience.

decent layout, but very mediocre conditions . greens decent but fairways and tee boxes not very good. no driving range. limited staff. never saw maintenance crew and beverage cart was rarely seen. no snack bar. challengingto get food at turn. overall , not a place to go back to . in a different era, course may haven been much better, but has seen better days.

The overall condition of the course is getting much better! With its good layouts, it's always fun to play here.

Greens: mostly good

They should fix the areas right around the greens. Other than that, no complaints.

No Marshall to move pace of play along. Course conditions were not great. At least two pedestrians were walking across the greens which was dangerous.

No one seems to know what’s going on people waiting to be taken care of. There is a Bag drop. But you have Carrie, your clubs yourself to the carts

Had an 8:30 tee time for 2 booked and when we showed up, there was a shotgun tournament starting at the same time as our tee time. There were 60+ people waiting to tee off and they were going to start us on the 12th hole. I asked the cart guy if we could play the Glades instead of the Champ to bypass the group and he allowed us to Thank Goodness. Not the price nor course I signed up to play!
