About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Well laid out, very fair and open
Nice experience. Hidden gem. Pleasantly surprised. Good shape and condition. Excellent professionals in the pro shop. Starter was professional and friendly.

Liked everything about this course
It’s been a long time for me to have played on an excellent golf course and I enjoyed every minute on this course. Fast and true greens, soft fairways, and plenty of water holes which I love. Will play again when I’m back in town.
Slow round
5 hour round in wet conditions. Several tee boxes we basically unplayable amd uneven. Had to tee off either on the side or way behind or in front. Decent greens, but pace of play here really bad.
Some don't like obstructed fairways. IE: Over water, canals, a wall of bunkers or the big oak tree in the center on 12, but I like this course. At 65, I still like a challenge. No GPS on carts, so bring your own range finder. One of my local "go to" courses. Better than average greens repair and maintenance.

Beautiful Course
First time around this beautiful course. We played the white tees and that is sufficient challenge for us but longer hitters can go way back and many of the holes would be very challenging. Course is in good condition and winds through lots of trees, wetlands and not too many houses. Greens are great: fast and challenging. Although they are mostly pretty flat the Bermuda grain is part of every read you will make.
