About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Course could use some TLC
Tee blocks were in really rough shape. Greens were ok. Very firm and needed some water. Fairways were average. But for the money it's a decent value.
Disappointed
The pace was slow primarily because of a 4 sum in front a twosome in front of us. Ranger was present but didn’t help speed it up. Many tee boxes were in bad shape and many greens had depression s and one had a divot of 4 inches.

My VERY FIRST HOLE IN ONE!
Let me start by saying I have a bias, because on hole#3 (130 yard Par 3) I hit the VERY FIRST Hole-In-One of my life (I'm almost 63 years old) on hole#3!
Anyway, nice course...
BUT...
I GET NOTHING FOR GETTING A HOLE-IN-ONE on you're golf course?

Greens were in good shape fairways were weed free. free?
SLOW!!
The golf course was very crowded as always 3 groups on each tee box. This made it very hard to play golf when you need a small bucket to warm up in between shots. The course layout is very nice I love the different holes with some water and sand traps coming into play. Putting greens are fast but bumpy so really not able to make a lot of putts.The staff is very nice and professional. All in all 3 stars average at best really.
This course- looks are deceiving!
We were looking forward to playing this Costco. We heard that it was in decent shape and a nice course. Unfortunately, our experience was not that first they allowed six people to play in front of us even after the six people were told to not do that. This resulted in slow play For the back nine. The greens were like putting on cement and it was not a pleasurable round. I would not spend money to play this course again.
Improved
We've played here many times through the years and like most courses it has its ups and downs with conditions. Right now tee boxes are great, fairways are good and greens are rolling good
