About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Fair challenge for the money.
Tee blocks are rough and the greens were firm but rolled ok.
Great track, nice conditions
Crescent Oaks is one of my favorite public courses to play in the Tampa Bay area. While not as “prestigious” as its next door neighbor “Fox Hollow,” I have always found Crescent Oaks to be in just as good shape with a very diverse and challenging track. Green are well maintained but not too fast, and tee boxes and greens are nice. The staff is always friendly and for the money it’s difficult to find a better golfing experience in the area!
Nice course & excellent price for the season
Course was in good shape, greens fast & rolled nicely. Teed off 20 minutes later than tee time, ending with a 4 1/2 hour round-not unusual for this time of year in FL. We got paired with 2 nice gentleman and had a very enjoyable round. Beware there is water on many of the holes.
Course could use some TLC
Tee blocks were in really rough shape. Greens were ok. Very firm and needed some water. Fairways were average. But for the money it's a decent value.
Disappointed
The pace was slow primarily because of a 4 sum in front a twosome in front of us. Ranger was present but didn’t help speed it up. Many tee boxes were in bad shape and many greens had depression s and one had a divot of 4 inches.

My VERY FIRST HOLE IN ONE!
Let me start by saying I have a bias, because on hole#3 (130 yard Par 3) I hit the VERY FIRST Hole-In-One of my life (I'm almost 63 years old) on hole#3!
Anyway, nice course...
BUT...
I GET NOTHING FOR GETTING A HOLE-IN-ONE on you're golf course?
REALLY?
