Escena Golf Club

The carts are not equipped with GPS. There are no yardage markers on the course. Even finding sprinkler heads with yardage was a challenge. Still , a very nice track.

Great course, wide fairways but still enough trouble to make it interesting. Excellent greens. There was no wind so it was perfect conditions.

We. Really think this is boring the nicest public courses in the valley. Nice layout and beautiful views.

Had a very pleasant round of golf. The staff is helpful, the course is fun to play and in good shape (except for unrepaired ball marks on the greens), and the views are great. It's on my list of "go to" courses in the valley.

Great course, excellent conditions from tee to green-tricky greens in some cases. Relatively open course, but also challenging enough for beginner and lower handicap. Just a great day all around-no wind, and no people on the course-middle of the day on a Saturday and NO FOOLING, it was April 1!

Very good course for variety of skill levels. Group aged 82, 65,60,45 all enjoyed. Friendly staff. Will play again. Course could use yardage markers.

We had a great day at Escena. The course is challenging with a number of long holes from the championship tees. The course was in great shape and the greens were rolling great. This was the 2nd time I have played this course when I have been in Palm Springs and I will be back again.

Played Escena again after 6 years and found it to be even more beautiful than before. Tee boxes were in excellent shape, fairways were terrific, bunkers were very playable with fine sand, and greens rolled medium fast and, more importantly, consistent from hole to hole. It was a windy day and when we reached the15th hole it was blowing pretty hard (15 mph?) and by the time we hit the 18th hole it was really blowing. But we all had an enjoyable round of golf at a very high class "resort" type golf course.

An enjoyable experience with few negatives. The reverse beepers on the golf carts are ear shattering. A helpful staff and great course conditions made for a wonderful day of golf.

The course is wonderful. Beautifully maintained. Occasional noise from airport. There is alot of wildlife on course. Fun!

Had read a lot of reviews complaining about the pace of play here. Was a little slow, but was done in 4 hours and 45 minutes, so not bad, not great. The course overall was in good shape from tee to green. Fairways tend to be pretty wide and generous and greens roll true for the most part. It's not the most remarkable course you'll ever play, but does have a nice character to it. Houses do line some fairways, but most are far enough off the fairways to not be too much of an issue. Water does come into play on some holes. Hard to find a knock against this track. Overall, for the money I paid, thought it was a solid value and would play again.

Although the course was OK I cannot recommend this course based on value given it has constant noise from the airport nearby and the exposure to high windy conditions which we experienced firsthand. Given comparables to other courses in the valley I think this course should be charging at most $75 at prime time and $50 for afternoon play during the months of Jan-Mar. On a positive note all course staff were friendly and appreciative of us choosing their course.

With a tee time of 9:50 a.m., you would think that a 4 1/2 hour round would be possible. However - 18 holes took FIVE AND ONE-HALF HOURS to play!!!! No Ranger to move it along - no concern on the part of the Escena staff! Love the course - love the restaurant - but will NOT play here again! If the management people at Escena even displayed a minimum of concern - and made a bit of an effort to move things along - that would help - but NOTHING!! Too bad - nice course. GL

Really enjoyed playing essena course - staff behind counter was practically grumpy...but otherwise enjoyed very much. My son in law felt a bit pricey...

Love the course layout and conditions. Windy off and on but still had a great day. Staff is always super friendly. Guys out front do a nice job.
