A modern layout that doesn't narrowly wind between tightly packed housing. Challenging greens but enjoyable to play.

For the 2nd time in a week we endured a 5 1/2 hr. Round. This is an incredibly kept tract but the golf experience is ruined when u wait on EVERY shot! Saw marshall once but only lip service! This situation is pure greed packing groups in. Escena obviously doesn't care as this is the case a lot! Unless u like 5-6 hr. Rounds play elsewhere.

Nice course, good shape, but not a Marshall in site! We had a noon tee time and barely finished by dark! Over five and one half hours, unacceptable! No wonder golf takes a bad rap for taking so long!!

Always love this course. It's a great annual treat to come here from Oregon in the winter months and play here.

The course is wonderful as is the club house amenities. Be prepared for a 5 hour round!!

Lovely course well maintained but very slow pace of play

Practice range is laughable, pace of play very slow. No ranger in sight and tee times booked much too close together.

This course has.it all and is a.great value but desperately needs.a responaible marshall. A 5 and.a.half hour roumd got really old waiting on every hole.

We have played Escena many times and enjoy the course.

The last two times including about a month ago, the play has been very slow.

Yesterday, we had 4 groups of foursomes waiting on some par 3's. We were told there was large group that went out late ahead of us sometime earlier. We never did see a marshall, but they were probably tied up dealing with that.

I realize the course needs to accomodate these things, but inconsiderate jerks who ruin everyone else's day should not be tolerated. We and our friends were saying yesterday we will never play there again but will likely give it another chance.

Too many golfers jammed into the timeslots in my opinion.

The course is in good shape however we went early to warm up and did not find a driving range but a net you hit into. They had a nice chipping green and putting greens. Also a beautiful view from the putting green. We teed off and found that houses immediately came into play. Why build houses this near to a fairway is beyond me. We encountered this on several holes. Many are protected by netting but to me this is ridiculous.

Tee boxes and greens were in good shape, a few of the fairways sparse.

Pace was a little slow at close to 5 hours.

This is very nice, challenging course. It was well manicured. We really enjoyed playing even though it was windy and cold. Several of the holes are quite challenging. The views are excellent. We played in just a little over 4 hours which I would think is typical.

We play this course on our last day because it is close to the airport and we can play golf and still catch a 4:15 flight. We had trouble getting there in time for our 7:44 tee time, but the course just moved up a foursome and let us in following them. Very accommodating. The course played well despite heavy rain the day before. Greens and fairways were excellent, rough not too heavy.

A well-manicured course with desert landscape. Challenging enough, with water features. A challenging 18th hole with great risk/reward on 2nd or 3rd shot. Location in north Palm Springs can bring wind as a major condition. We had 2 club winds at times. Overall, a very pleasant course that I will play again soon.

Did not finish as it was slow play. NO rangers. Charged $35 for a non player rider. Inside staff not very friendly

We had an early morning tee time. The bag drop was staffed, the carts were ready and the pro shop check in was fast. The course layout and conditions are excellent. This is a challenging and fun course to play for all levels of golfer. Best golfing experience for the price!

The course is good,however there was no Marshall on the course. The group in front of us was 5 people, which was switched to 4 on the 9th hole, closer to the clubhouse. This slowed down play to the point where we couldn't finish a round that we otherwise would have. It put a bit of a damper on an otherwise enjoyable round
