Escena Golf Club

Pretty course and well maintained. Pace of play was good. Staff was friendly. No snack shop. Water and beer can be purchased from a machine in the pro shop. Otherwise, you need to wait for a cart person to come through and that can take a little time. The driving range is only a netted area. Very nice chipping and putting practice areas. Other courses in the area charge similar fees and offer better amenities. Didn't use the restaurant on premises but that looked really nice.

Beautiful course and excellent clubhouse/restaurant

Price a bit steep - but that seems to be the normal range for any course in Palm Springs. Would definitely play this course again.

I'd go back to play if I could get around the same price but would be wary of playing there on a windy day or afternoon. The layout is interesting and one suspects would stay so on repeated rounds.

This was the most well maintained course I have played this year. Views were amazing as well.

Very much enjoyed the course. Wide fairways, with some homes, but almost never in play. The greens were very good, quick and predictable. All in all, I would recommend playing whenever you are in Palm Springs area.

Second time playing Escena and thoroughly enjoyed the round. We were teamed up with a great couple from LA, Barb and Gary and we had a great time playing with them. My only complaint would be the pace of play, especially on the back nine. The four guys in front of had a much higher opinion of their games than their actual ability and had no business playing from the Championship Tees. Probably not a lot of fun for them either as they all must have shot over a hundred. I'm sure if you asked them how the pace of play was they would have thought it was great and they never to had wait once to play, the group in front of them were 2 holes ahead!

Very pretty but challenging. Lots of sand in play. Felt rushed but still had a great time.

It has been five years since playing Escena. The course is maturing perfectly. We love the layout and the greens were awesome.

Our only complaint was with the speed of play. The back nine was quite slow and it would be a great idea to have a course marshall to keep people moving.

Played again for first time in a couple years. As nice as I remember it. Somewhat windy when we started, but calmed down and became beautiful. Some airport noise, but not distracting. Beautiful clubhouse. Course was challenging, but fair. Only negative is no driving range (hit into nets) but definitely a course to play on your valley vacation.

No one in our group had any prior experiences at Escena, but we like it and put it on our play again list. The course is in exceptional condition and the layout is fair to generous. Greens in terrific condition. We got a good soaking on the 14th tee box as the sprinkler system decided to turn on, but I'm not downgrading the course rating due to this error in judgement by their grounds team. One other disappointment was the dining facilities, which look amazing, where closed for a private reception when we finished our round. All in all, Escena is a great experience and must play for visitors to Palm Springs.

My siblings and I got together for our first ever family golf vacation and had a wonderful time. Escena made our list of courses to play because of the course design, quality and price. Excellent on all fronts.

Well gang, my title tells you all you need to know. This is a very good track that has far too many people on it. Enjoyable so long as you can let that go.
