Escena Golf Club

Enjoyed our day, staff friendly. Sand traps well maintained, greens rolled nicely. Nice track with great views. Restaurant looks great with nice views everywhere....menu was a let down, place was completely empty. Had a beer and left.....course was busy but no one in bar....too bad.

What a treat. We were thrilled to play this course and only blemish is pace of play. The layout, scenery, greens all made a memorable afternoon.

Picked this course to play on our last day here. Great course! Definitely will start with this course next time out here. The views from the course are beautiful and the course is great! Be sure to check this one out!

Course couldn't be in better shape, fare ways,greens,and landscaping made it on of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever played. The only downfall was that the restaurant decided to close early that day so after playing we couldn't get any food or drinks.

There was a group pull out before us so we were told we had to go 20 minutes before our tee time, as we were about to tee off, a group of 3 showed up told the starter they were early and wanted to go. They pushed us all day and hit up on us 3 times, we couldn't go anywhere, neither could the group in front of us. Perhaps not the fault of the club but not good overall.

After we finished we wanted a nice beer in the clubhouse, as we entered a staff member came racing up and told us they were shut. 3pm on a Sunday. At this point there were 12 people finished and looking for a drink after golf. Surely they don't have so much money that they want to push business away ?

The time the clubhouse closed was posted in big letters on the door at 6pm.

Course good, mamangement of players, no so good, hospitality at best described as ordinary.

What a beautiful layout... friendly yet challenging course... manicured condition... beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating providing spectacular views of the Santa Rosa mountains... Pro Shop and Staff top notch and very accommodating. I'm looking for a return round... RickyD

Great course for the money. Greens had been seeded and punched but that didn't affect the ball at all. Course is overall flat but does offer a challenge, don't let it fool you.

Would recommend this to anyone down in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert/La Quinta area.

Great course for all levels. The day I played there was a little bit of sand on the greens but the ball still rolled ok. The pace of play was horrible though , because of one group, two couples, husband and wife group that slowed everyone down. I wish the marshalll had talked to them to speed things up. Very pretty course.

Very nice course but, play was extremely slow has the course booked too many times. We had to start on 10 and when we got to 1, the management inserted another group in front of us (one being a very young Lad) and then we were idle for most of the nine.

To put finishing touches on the day we had to have our cart pushed for a hole and a half back to the club house.

Seems to be $$$$ rather than customer satisfaction at this course

NEVER AGAIN

Not one of Jack's toughest but a quality golf course. Probably attracts too many novice players because of the reasonable price and that affects the condition; lots of balls marks on greens, traps not raked, but it is one of the best deals in Palm Springs area.

This is a great course for the value. Close to the springs but very scenic. Although the course is very wide open accommodating all types of players I would recommend this as a must play.

This course comes up as surprise gem and better than we had anticipated. Course is very nice to play and was in great shape - greens and fairways. Great scenery, including planes coming in to land! Would definitely play again, staff friendly and very helpful.

This is a beautiful course in excellent condition. Played on a sunny early morning will force you to concentrate on your game because the mountains to the south are so beautiful in that light and the course and its trees create a perfect scene. With numerous bunkers and some water, this course is challenging but fair for low to high handicappers. Because carts are not restricted to the cart path, we were able to comfortably play the whole course in just under four hours. The only concern I would express is wind. Although it was a warm and still the day when we played, I have played it in the past when it was windy and there was no relief. The course is exposed to the elements so I would not want to play it on a windy day.

This is a very nice property with service to match. Very good track. Would highly recommend

Having played many courses in the area, I,m surprised to not have played Escena before. It is absolutely well groomed, and an enjoyable course to play. The only negative the day I played was no carts on the fairways. It made it a little difficult to bring the right clubs.Will play it again and recommend it highly.Bunkers and water make it interesting.

I booked on line for my wife and myself, great deal for caliber of facility. Spectacular course, in playability, beauty, and condition. Service at checkin was simply excellent, professionalism of servers in the Grill again was flawless as was the quality of food! I emmediatly booked another tee time for the flowing day. A Must Play course!!
