About
Sherwood Golf Club in Titusville originally opened in 1965 as a nine-hole course. Over the years it has changed ownership and undergone major renovations including the expansion into an 18-hole course. The new 18-hole layout measures 6,274 yards from the back tees. The player-friendly design features forgiving fairways and inviting greens. It's not a terribly formidable golf course but as one of the most affordable rounds in the area, Sherwood is popular among players of all skill levels. There are bunkers strategically placed along the greensides and fairways and water also comes into play on a few holes. One of Sherwood Golf Club's most memorable holes his the par-3 11th. This intimidating hole features a semi-island green that has been known to swallow a ball or two.

Course in ok condition . Pace of play was unbearable.
Course in ok condition except for tee boxes. Pace of play was horrendous. Over 4.5 hrs to play 14 holes. Had to quit. If your under 80 (thats in yrs) don't go. Ranger does nothing to move pace along. A lot of TV advertisement for such a sad course.
Awesome greens... Good fairway less sme bare spots but overall worth it.
It's very obvious the staff acre about this Golf Coarse. In years pastthis course had fallen on hard times, but now is a must play. Very satisfied..
This course needs help.
Can't understand how this course got a four star rating. The fairways are thin and most of the tee bowes had no grass. I will not be playing this course again.
from what this coarse was to what it is today is impressive.
I enjoy the coarse, the staff is great, the little snack bar is very good, even the two practice greens are very nice. overall a good experiance.
great come back
I had not played this course in a few years because it had become not much more than a cow pasture. Things have changed...new owner who must be spending some money. The greens are in quite good shape and most of the fairways have come back also. There is a lot of water so accurate shots are a must. I would not recommend it for someone who can't hit it over water hazards. If you are near this course, I would say it is certainly worth playing at least once. Do bring plenty of balls and watch for gators.
Great condition
Someone has taken great care in establishing a first rate maintenance program for this course. The golfers appreciate the effort and enjoy playing this challenging course.

Heard that Sherwood was back in good shape. Pleasantly surprised to find it in very decent shape, especially the greens. Very good value at the afternoon golfnow rate.
