Loved it!
It was a little hot today with temps in the mid 90's, but it still felt pretty good out there! Ot was a light breeze in the air :-)
The course was in great condition except for a little high grass in some areas.
I'm not a great golfer and usually plays in the 90's, but we sill had allot of fun :-)
We (My girlfriend and I) will e back as soon as we can...
First time at this course
Upon arrival, pro shop looked closed. Once entering, it was rundown and uninviting. There were no signs pointing to hole #1 and no signs on each hole indicating yardage. Fairways were in fairly good shape and greens were excellent.

Course is in great shape despite the hot weather. Much better than other the other LA City courses in the valley.
Course Looked Great
Course continues to improve. Staff is friendly and I always enjoy my rounds here.
Clubhouse just needs upgrading and more merchandise.
Improving
The fairways and greens have been noticeably improving in the past few months. The course is looking nice. I enjoy the pace at this course. I can play solo and push through 18 holes in a couple hours. I would like to see the club house remodeled and opened back up.
An Enjoyable Golf Course at a Reasonable Price
If you want to get out there and play some enjoyable golf at a reasonable price, then El Cariso GG may be just the place for you.
Currently the course is in very good shape, the pace of play is excellent, the staff is very accomodating, and the green fees are quite affordable.
Are there better golf courses to be played out there? Yes, of course there are. But you might find it difficult to beat the combination of course conditions, pace of play, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing currently offered at El Cariso.
Bottom Line... This place simply works, and makes for a very enjoyable round of golf.
So, if you're a recreational golfer who's up for trying something new, then I would suggest that you give it a go at El Cariso.
El Cariso - Nice Quick Round!
Played a nice quick round at El Cariso this morning. Only took 3 hours and the course was in good shape! Only complaint was that the greens were a bit firm but really good to put on! Nice to start at 7:30am and be finished at 10:30am :-)

Enjoy this course
It's only the second time we've played at El Cariso. We enjoy the course, but a couple holes are not marked well and hole identifiers near the tee boxes would be helpful to newer players at this course.
I’m Back!
After not golfing for four years because of back problems, I looked forward to coming back to El Cariso. The weather was perfect, the course was nice, the price was reasonable, and I had a great time. One complaint is that I would’ve liked the ball cleaners to have been working. I don’t know why that is Covid related.
