It's a freaking jungle!!!!
They need to cut the intermediate & primary rough shorter. It swallows up golf balls and they are lost. I have never lost more golf balls landing in the rough as this place.

Great course friendly staff but, some the holes were being work on cut in half wasn’t advised of work cut enjoyment of playing today
We love El Cariso
I have played this “hidden gem” for years, and it continues to impress! The course is in great shape, and the geese seem happy. Overall fun, challenging layout.

Course was enjoyable
The course as a whole was excellent. Unfortunately, we landed on a day that the greens had been ariated and sand was on many of the greens. The sand made it difficult to get legitimate putts. I'm hoping that the work done on the greens this week will make for better play in the next few weeks.
It’s just mediocre.
Maybe I just went on a really bad day but it was painfully super slow. Group in front of us kept going to the wrong hole and it delayed our group and the group behind us by several holes. Nobody respects the course. It was obvious when another group were riding their carts over the tee boxes. The group I got grouped with were taking mulligans every other hole and would take 3-5 practice swings per shot. I get it, you’re with your crew and maybe they’re understanding and patient but I came here to play golf and not watch a driving range session. It was truly a painfully slow round and I’ll probably never come here again.

Solid Value for Money
Not terribly expensive with good pace of play. The course conditions are what you'd expect for a typical, low-cost municipal course - hard sand, some stray range balls scattered about, a few oddly designed holes. In total, though, a fun course with some variety, pretty well-maintained, easy on- and -off.
Good for a quick 9
This course is great for a cheap quick round. The conditions are ok. The conditions are great for the price. This is my go to course for a quick 9 after work.
