Quail Hollow Golf Course

Good pace of play. Good conditions tee to green. The greens were in the worse condition I have seen in a long time. Was warned when I checked in that the greens were in bad shape and the overseed did not take. Good information to know before paying. All the greens were crunchy,bumpy Sandy. Impossible to putt. Usually don't mind if the greens are rough but these were noticeably worse than any in the area. They were still fast bc it was like putting on concrete with sand spread across it.

Not a very difficult course, some fairways are narrow. Overall a good setup for the price

Course was in very good condition, as were the greens.

The course was okay at best, but the Pro or Manager was probably the most unfriendly person I have ever met in a Clubhouse. I would never go back, and will tell all my friends to never even consider this course. It was very disappointing to be treated so rudely.

Great experience. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The course was challenging but with course management pars were obtainable. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and looking forward to many more rounds of golf here !!

Not a negative to Quail Hollow but all courses in general, if tee times were set at 10 minutes in duration, then fairway divots and ball marks on the greens could be repaired.

Even back in the day when conditions were what they are now it was a great layout. Now a drive from Bradenton is a trip I look forward to. We played in four hours even though a group of four foursomes in front of us added 45 minutes to an hour to the round. Can't wait to come back.

Looks very pretty driving at the first tee but the greens are surprisingly bad just in poor condition

My boss's boss was in town and wanted to play. Even though it rained a bit, the course held up well. The bosses really enjoyed the course and mandated we play it again next time the big boss is in town. I always enjoy playing there, and this time I didn't have to call my boss, he was already there.

First time back here in about a year or so. Booked as a single on Saturday morning but was paired up with another single and a twosome so it worked out nicely. The starter was great at getting us grouped together and sent us on our way.

After 6 or 7 holes we caught up to a fivesome that held us up for the rest of the day, making for a 4 and a half hour round. Looked to be a common practice here since the marshal saw them several times and never intervened.

Tees were good, and looked to be recently over seeded and have grown in nicely. Fairways were nice as well and very green. The Greens however, still need improving. 14 was especially rough and mostly sand. Many greens had lots of sand and some bare patches on them. They rolled decent but were a bit on the slow side.

A driving range would be nice but at least there is a mat and net to hit into if you need it. Putting green was sandy and is quite small.

Overall a good value, and a good experience, prices are in line with the conditions and every staff member I encountered was very polite and helpful.

Played this course for something different than the course we belong to. Course is nice but several of the greens were a little suspect. They putted fine but didn't look the best. Would play the course again as it was better when we played it previously so suspect it was just a bad day. The food was great and the portions big but was a little expensive.

All the way from Canada, it was my greatest find in 3 weeks!! Super course and first class all the way!! I give you guys a 9.9 from the Canadian judge, and if I didn't have to leave for home tomorrow I would be back again. Thanks very much for the great day. Clyde Lemieux.

Played as a foursome; just right, no one ahead of us, no one pushing. Course was in excellent shape.

Decent course north of Tampa. Good price for a Sunday afternoon. I wouldn't necessarily make a trip to play here but if I was in the area I might.

Joined a threesome of locals who play here on a regular basis. Greens were in good shape and pace was excellent, 3 1/2 hours. Only #14 green remains in poor shape. Will play again.

Quail hollow is a great course with great rates. It's always in good to great shape. Very fun course to play. Has a great restaurant. We got out before the woman's league and pace of play was not an issue. I've played quail hollow more than any course this year (10 out of 44 bookings this year). Love this course.

My Father was a Charter Member at Quail Hollow in 1965 and I have some fond memories of being out there at 4 or 5 years old, this course has some character. The greens were in extremely nice shape and rolled smooth and true. All greens are elevated and have large shoulder bunkers, so do not leave it short. Quail is a fair test with beautiful fairways and greens. Pace of play was excellent as my partner and I finished in less than 3 hours. There are some good size gators, so keep your eyes open if you go looking in the hazard. I will play again soon.

The course was backed up from our second hole on, but still had a good experience. For a course that gets played so much it was in pretty good condition. I am sure I will go back.

A little far out for me but good value. Challenge g enough, greens need a little work.

The course was in good shape and the greens were as good as I have seen them since I began playing at Quail Hollow. Some of the fairways appear to have too much fertilizer on them and hopefully they will not suffer damage.
