Windermere Country Club

This is a course I could play every day. Interesting holes and the fairways and greens were in great shape. Enjoyed playing the smooth and fairly speedy greens. The pro shop had one...I say one shirt for sale in size XL and one hat that had their logo on it. Lucky for me I liked the one shirt and bought it. Played on Saturday and the course was busy. Would definitely come back though. This course is a bargain for the $44 rate.

This was our third time playing this course. Just like the other times we played, the course condition was fantastic. Tee boxes are well grown, fairways were lush and the greens were in great condition as well. The only bad part about the round was that it was slow. Although we played in a twosome, the foursome ahead of us were very slow and appeared not to care as several times they took practice putts after everyone putted out. The need to play "ready golf" to speed things up. Unfortunately, there were no rangers on the course to check pace of play so we were stuck waiting on almost every shot making the round much longer than necessary. We'll be back because it's a great course.

First time at Windermere & it was a great little track to play. No long drives from green to tee. The two par threes on the back nine are strong from the back tees at 200 yards+ & the 18th is a great closing hole. A couple of beers sat on the veranda watching the sun go down. A very pleasurable day

The course was playable not well maintained. Rough area was very hard surface. It cost more than courses that were beautiful and included lunch. Staff was nice.

After finding a super deal to play Windermere for the first time, I was shocked at the layout, conditions and play at this course. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were all superb. Playing from the White tees, the course was very enjoyable. This course will definitely be added to my return list, especially at this price. One warning, the 7.50 hot dog was not worth it.
Great pro shop staff and beverage cart was very attentive.

First time playing this course and found it tough - I was a little off my game. Greens very fast and conditions excellent.

Course was in very nice shape, but fairways were a little shaggy, presumably because of over seeding. Great course to play.

Great day all the way from start to finish, Cannot wait to come back again and play this course again. Staff are great and super friendly.

Totally enjoyed the round. Nice course very nice greens. Totally recommended.

This course was great. I will play it again and again. Holes are different from each other. Some dog leg right, some left, some straight ahead. Sand was perfect.

Great layout with memorable holes. A great mix of long and short holes with great undulations and views around the lake. Greens were in great condition compared with others in the area undergoing overseeing. Will endeavour to return ASAP.

Course Staff very friendly. Had a 9:15am tee time got off right away. No one behind us or in front. Finished the round in 3 1/2 hours. My friend ordered food from the grille and it looked and tasted great. Course is in good shape. They did however have construction going on, some of the fencing around the course but no major construction to any hole. Greens were challenging and nice. I would recommend this course to others. A lot of water on each holes so be careful and the way to beat the course is to play safe and accurate. It allowed me to play and score well. I would recommend only to repave the concrete for cart paths that is broken up, but otherwise I would say a strong 7.5/10.

Course was in very good condition. We played on the weekend at the same time as a USA Kids tournament was going on which made the first nine (started on the back 9) rather slow.
Not a problem if this helps grow the game of golf.
The staff were very pleasant, which made it a joy to play here. I would recommend this course to anyone. Got a very good rate using Golf Now.
