Private, pleasant atmosphere to play. Will definitely play this course again.
Everything in the course (the golf cart, the driving range, rest rooms, distance/OB markers, etc) are professionally maintained.
Enjoyable Round
The tees and greens were in very good condition. Grrens rolled true. Fairways were patchy but ok. Balls in the rough were a challenge, the way it should be. Very scenic layout. Staff was freindly. A pleasure to play. Would definately play again.
Nice course, worth returning
Beautiful layout, has some challenges, lot of doglegs, some short, some tricky...Course knowledge will definitely help...if you are controlling your shots, hitting your spots, you will have a great day here..greens were rolling true and very consistent..fairways are in fantastic shape. par3's arent as challenging...all in all a great course..may need to lower their membership fees to get some more biz....gorgeous homes here..
This course was just right for an afternoon, after-work round.
A pleasure to play and just as I expected. Staff was very nice and course in good condition.
Greens were in great shape.
This is a great course and is in very good condition. The greens were in great shape.
The staff in the pro shop could not have been better. I will be back soon.
Beautiful course!
Great shape and great environment! The course is very well maintained and the starter is very friendly. The young man working the desk in the golf shop was a bit rude and it appeared that we were bothering him when we needed to pay.
Plays long, great shape but waited on every hole.
Overall, it's a great course with an interesting layout and in very good shape. A combination of rain and soft fairways didn't allow for much role but the greens were true and challenging. The biggest issue was that we waited on almost every hole which became very frustrating - I would still play it again, maybe not on the 4th of July weekend though:)
Didn't expect what I experienced.
For a country club, I was expecting a little bit more of a country club feel. I pulled up and no one was attending the main door and my buddy and I had to figure out where to go. The pro shop attendant was very nice, but the pro shop had less items to chose from. It was a pretty sad pro shop. I've seen better pro shops at public courses. The greens are by far the best greens I played on my vacation. They are fast and very receptive. The fairways are great and well maintained. I did expect the rest of the course to be well kept, but it looked like they didn't pay attention to how much sun damage the rest of the course was getting. It was an ok experience. I would play it for a cheaper rate, but overall, it was a good outting.
Good turns and shape......
Fun course......have to shape a few tee shots and hit to proper level of greens........fun little course....bring ur pop stroke as greens are fairly slow and grainy!!
A formerly private club
This course was the kind of club where you had to know someone to play. Now it's sometimes available to the public and it's a good track to visit.
Playing only 6600 from the back tees it's not a long course, but it does take a little local knowledge to know where to hit it.
Worth a visit, but watch your speed through Windermere.
Nice Course
Course was challenging with all of the trees, water, and well-placed bunkers. Course drained very well, as I played the day after a night of 5 inches of rain. Greens were fast enough after all the rain.
Hidden Gem - go play it
Played with my son and we both enjoyed the layout and the whole scenery of the course. Staff very friendly and the green fee was exceptional value. Every aspect was excellent. Will definitely return to play again.
Windermere Country Club
The course was in great condition including the greens. One of the better courses in the Orlando area. Course was pretty empty so we played quickly. A very nice golf experience.
One of the finest
This is a beautiful course. Not the longest track but I don't play from 7k yards anyways. The best part of the course is how well maintained the greens and the area around the greens are. Everything is perfectly manicured. Greens are challenging but the roll true. I'm cheap so I only ever play courses when I can get on for less than $40 but this is a course I don't mind paying a little extra for. If you can find a hot deal, it's definitely a good deal
Traditional Layout in Florida
This is not a typical Florida course, some water, but a traditional almost midwest like course design. It is tree lined, but trimmed back from the fairways, and require accurate tee shots. The ability to work your tee ball a plus. Greens were excellent, with moderate speed, fairly severe back to front slopes, so take extra club on those back pins. Very enjoyable, would play it again.
Course held it's own on a stormy day
Take it frrom someone who doesn't mind traveling to play new & exciting courses, I wasn't disappointed in this one. On a day that promised scattered t-storms I drove from decent weather into overcast & threatening weather. It was great to keep the playing field down so off I went to hole # 1. By hole # 3 I was bunked up watching a fast & furious storm come thru. After 1/2 hr. I was back on the course & was pleasantly surprised how it withstood nature's fury. Course in real good shape and definately worth the wait & drive. I will be back to give it another go, hopefully on a bright sunny day
Course was in Great Shape after all the rain in Thursday.
Great layout, with challenges. Will go back again and again. Recommed to all players.
Beautifully laid out pristine course.
1:00 tee time thru GolfNow.com (rewards program). Beautifully laid out pristine course. Tree lined. Some tight tee shots. Fun course. Fairways plushly carpeted. Greens fast & rolling true w/ lots subtle undulations. Carts battery powered w/ windshields & rain cover in back for bags.
