Save your money... This Course was over Rated from the reviews. Its not a bad course if you want to feel good about your game but if your a good player and want to be challenged this is not the course to do it on. Besides that some of the staff are down right rude. There are many other courses in the area to check out that are fantastic. Grand Cypress, Falcons Fire,Grand Pines, Metro West, Disney etc... I wll recommend this course any day . It will represent a good challenge depending on pin location. This is an old mature course with beautiful scenery.

The course was in great shape, well manicured. Nice layout with. A lot of interesting holes. The green are fast, but roll true. It's a nice course to play.

The staff was very friendly and the course was not. oh it was fun to play, but you need to bring your game if you want to score. It also allows you a few holes to keep you in it, but very,very, challenging.

The course was in excellent condition, well maintained and the greens perfect -- not the fastest but beautifully true with some tricky breaks. The layout of the course rewards the good shots, and punishes the bad ones, just as it should be.
Our experience from arrival in the pro shop to the bar afterwards was superb and enhanced by helpful friendly staff. A dial in order service is available on the 9th tee for half time refreshments. Take your mobile to call in. No refreshment cart here today, check on arrival so you can take drinks with you although complimentary water/ice is available on course.
The best part of this course is the speed of play -- if you want a decent pace of play this is for you, if you like 5-6 hour rounds best stay away because it upsets others!

Everything was perfect. The staff very friendly, the course in great condition, the greens totally perfect. I would recommand it anytime

Course in fantastic condition. Pins in some tough locations which contributed to a long round. Only issue I had was we looked to add a third the morning we were playing and were told the course was completely full, but they had a twosome in front and behind us. They could have easily fit in our third.

The course was in poor condition. It was overpriced for the conditions. It has a nice layout & could have been good if the course had been watered & fertilized.

Moderate level of difficulty. Very few people playing so you can get around quickly.

With so many courses extremely dry, firm, and sparse due to lack of rain these days, Windermere CC was a nice change. Course was in very good condition with excellent greens and plenty of turf in the fairways. The rough was a little sparse, but that's ok, if you hit it in the rough, you should expect to pay a price. Compared to most courses in the area these days, you could almost call it pristine....

Practice facilities were excellent and everyone was very welcoming and appreciative of our business. Not always the case when a formerly private club opens it's doors to outside play.

Not terribly long, 6600 from the tips, but some tight holes and a lot of water that needs to be respected. Some fairly short par 5's, but don't get too cocky, the birdies aren't as forthcoming as you might think. Definitely a course where a couple of rounds will make a difference as there are some blind shots that need to be played properly or you're going to add strokes to your score.

All in all a very pleasant day on a nice course. A bit of a drive for our happy little group, but worth it and we'll definitely add it into the rotation.

Challenging, classic course. Tree-lined fairways challenge driving accuracy. Greens are well maintained and putted very true. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable day of golf.

Course was in very good condition, lot's of blind shot's.
First time playing here but definetly not the last.

The course was well layer out but if you went off the fairways the conditions were awful

I thoght Windemere Country Club was a fun course to play. Friendly staff and the pace of play was very good. I thought the course was challenging and offered some very interesting holes, but not overly difficult to make it unplayable for the average golfer. It was a great value for the money, especially during the Easter / Spring break period. Tee times were readily available. Would definately play again.

The cool weather kept people wait (I guess). The course was not crowded, the golfers friendly (and let you play through), and it was a wonderful time. Absolutely no complaints other than my score which I really cannot blame on the course.

I played course on Wednesday 3 days after the major wind and rain storm came through that suspended Sundays championship round of the Arnold Palmer Championship. Lots of serious damage to the community, but The course, and fairways were impeccable, the greens equally as nice, and the course was very challenging. Loved it. Hope to return within the month.

This is a country club that allows non-member players. The course was in excellent condition. In particular, the greens appeared freshly rolled and firm, but they held approach shots. Balls rolled very true. Staff was friendly. Felt lot a composite of FLorida and a Northeastern course due to tree-lined fairways. Precision driving is important, else you wind up in water or trees.

Overall we were very happy with the course and the price. Definitely want to play again.

Really enjoyed the course. Really fun layout, plenty of chances to hit the big stick. Course management still needed on certain holes like the last 4 finishing holes, all needed your head in the game. Staff was great, will play again on my next trip to Orlando area for sure.

We played the course the day after a terrible storm hit the area so many trees down and leaf and branches on the course.Sand traps were unplayable.But the work crews were busy cleaning up.The layout is great fairways and greens in good shape.Excellent value.

Beautiful course, excellent condition, particularly greens, bunkers too, very fair though lots of water. Also easily walkable.
