greens were fair to good fairways ok but some dry brown areas
I enjoyed golfing here but still thought the price was high there are a lot of golf courses in the area which are cheaper and still good I did like the titleist club we rented but again to high of price just to rent clubs 20 to 25$ is more than enough we should not have to suffer just cuz tthe airlines sock it to us and the ups' s of the world too vacation should be cost friendly so thanks for the round of golf but ...... oh and yes I will use your site again to save and research thanks
Very good course and greens are in great condition.
Very good to excellent course. The greens are fast and challenging because of all the undulations but are mowed like professional tournament courses. The fairways are in good shape. I have played the course twice already in the last two weeks.
This course has some nice twists to it, and is a challenge for all types of golfers. There is plenty of trouble to get into, but it is not unfair.
I have a couple reasons why I did not give this a 5 star rating. One: My son and I teamed up with a couple from Ireland, and we had a geat time, but the pace of play could have been better. There were 2 twosomes behind us, and at the turn while we were waiting forvever for our lunch, the 2 groups passed us by and never formed a foursome. The play was extremely slow on the back, and there was not a ranger to be found. There was a phone # to call in the food, but no one picked up in the kitchen, that would have definitely sped things up. Two: The fairways and greens were in pretty good shape, but the rough was beat up and worn down.
More like northern florida
Greens and water are course features
Greens are great, not flat. Must be able to read greens or you have no chance. Balls roll true and hold the line you choose.
Great greens
Fast, challenging greens on a nice course. Houses are not right on top of you like so many other courses. Gets tougher at the end.
Best greens we played on in Orlando.
We played all the high end courses in Orlando during the nine rounds we played. This course had the best greens we played. Traditional tree lined track with a few very difficult holes if the wind is blowing. The Starter told us that course plays about 400 yards longer than what is on the card because you get no roll and he was right.
Great price given the high seaon prices in Orlando.
Great Value
Would play this course again. Great value for the price!
last minute time-thrilled
i had found out late that i would be traveling and even later that i needed to book a tee time. with 3 days notice i found the course, at a very cheap price. at my preferred time. the staff was super nice and even allowed my friend to join me at last minute. good, solid course worth playing again
Nice course, fun layout and reasonably good condition.
I am a low handicap player and accustomed to playing very well conditioned courses. I quite enjoyed this layout and the overall condition of the course. By selecting the proper tee markers you should have all the course you need unless you are a young bomber. The greens and bunkers were in pretty good shape, shame on those who don't rake bunkers properly.
Great value for a course in excellent condition with an enjoyable layout.
Best value for your $ in Orlando. Pristine greens with friendly helpful staff. A must play in the area.
Nice course, would play again. Drought is causing issues with a number of courses, this one included.
This is a nice course and would definitely play again but if you are basing your golfing decision on value for your money, I think it is over-priced in comparison to some other courses of equal quality. Considering the dry conditions currently in Florida, the grounds crew have done a very good job in maintaining the course condition. Like the layout.
Fairways needs some attention here and there
Greens excellent :-) specially when you have not played golf since September
Overall, a great play. Combines challenges with opportunities.
The well-heeled residents can afford the costs to keep conditions well upscale. It's a pleasant experience with no bad holes and lots of good memories if you play well. But, you've got to hit your tee shots toward the 150-yard marker, or prepare to go swamp-diving. These hazards are loaded with one-hit Pro V1s.
The 4+ car garages and uber-capacious lanais ensure top playing conditions regardless of any pesky market downturns. It must be nice . . .
Tough greens, man!
2nd round at Windermere. Loved it, once again. But it'll take me a couple more rounds to get used to some of these greens and better approach them i.e. may be stay short and count on a gapwedge/1-putt combo, once in a while, rather than having to face an extra-long snaking 1st putt...and risk a 3-putt.
good course
very good value for the golf now price,we are playihg it again. Its a good course that needs a little moremoney to bring it to the next level.Lay out is good ,length is good and it is plenty challenging. We enjoyed playing it.Greens were very good shape, comparable to courses of twice the price.Amarshal would speed up play.
Very friendly and well maintained.
Friendly starter. Greens and fairways were excellent. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely play here again.
This course is well maintained and the staff makes you feel like you are a member.
Really enjoyed the course and will play here next trip to Orlando.
Nice track worth the price we paid
We played early on a Monday morning and paid $50.00 on a golf now tee time. Both the starter and pro shop staff were helpful and gave us some solid tips on where to play shots, and what to expect as far as the greens ( they all tilt back to front). The course was in excellent condition and one of the nicest ones we played on our golf trip. The greens were fast and rolled true. There were plenty of bunkers strategically placed but all were groomed and consistent to play from.
Overall a very pleasant experience. It was only about 30 minutes away from the airport and if you are looking for a nice track for a reasonable rate you will not be disappointed with this one.
This course good for all players
Would have liked to play the course with a little less wind. Greens very nice. Shot making a plus. Not a long course, but you need to place your shots in the correct places. I would play this course again.
