Windermere Country Club

The only downside was the cab ride there as our driver took us to the City of Windemere and tried to wing it from there! GREAT GREENS...Got there, staff was very helpful and allowed us to get out 30 minutes early. Had a 2 for 1 beer special afterwards and we were quite content.

Booked on Golf Now on a guys golf trip. We were let off the 1st tee 30 mins late. They had let a 5 some go off 3 groups ahead of us. 1 hour later we had played 2 holes. No marshall. Drink cart came around and the server said she'd contact the starter. Nothing was done. 3 hours on the front. The 5 some left and still it was slow. We waited on the group ahead of us on every hole. Again no marshall. Staff was friendly and the course was OK. I'd rather they have someone out on the course than promptly cleaning my clubs at the end of the round. Interestingly they were letting some groups off on the back 9 when we tee'd off. We also noticed that when we were done there was no one at the course. Waiting 20 mins at a tee box really takes away from the enjoyment of the day. Lots of courses to play in the area. I'd play more for a 4 hour round.

The course is in great shape and the pace of play is great. Although my round was longer than 4 or 4.5 hours out group didn't have to wait on tees for groups to clear nor were we pushed from behind. I will also say that I play during peak season so its expected that play will be a bit longer since there are many snowbirds in the area to escape the cold and may not have practiced during the winter.

Its a great course that you should play!

Play it in the afternoon for 1/2 price. I thought it was a little over priced at $100.00 a round. I did like the greens,they were very true and well maintained.

My son, a long and slightly erratic driver of the ball, and I, a shorter but straighter hitter, both loved this course. The course design was terrific, with interesting holes that challenged us both. The course conditions was excellent. We'll do this one again!

Staff was very friendly, pace of play was good, greens were in excellent condition. Overall this coarse was challenging, had some very good holes.

The course was in pretty good condition. People in the club house were nice but the pace of play was slow. No ranger! Oh well everything else was great. The course had some challenging holes and was a good test.

Difficult and long for high handicappers. Too many forced carries with no bailouts.

Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The course was very fun to play. The condition of the course was excellent. Nothing but positives! Will be back for sure.

it is worth whith what we paid for. Nice course somewhat chanlenging and I would recommend it to my friends

Reminds me of Oakland Hills in MI.The fairways were fair, and the greens are when the real game begins. No rangers though, and pace was brutal.

It was ok. Nothing great. crowded and seems to back up easily. Some strange holes like a 170 yd Par 3 that has two palm trees that you either have to hit over or around. They're right in the line of sight.

The staff was extremely welcoming. The starter provided an exceptional course rundown and the on-range staff and bartender were great. The course was in great condition.

This course has a friendly staff, wonderful course layout and greens. I have no complaints other than it wasn't free....

Course in good condition. Challenging for someone that is not familiar with the hazards.

if you decide this are in orlando, windermere is the best to choose.
played it on friday and there were a lot of people, so take time with you for a 5 hours plus round.

Enjoyed the course, however would only recommend if you get a reduced rate. Staff were very good, very friendly.

Good food. Very good practice areas. Rental clubs where fine. Helpful staff and a challanging course with low geenfee. You must try it.

Enjoyed the course. Good pace of play for a holiday. Nice conditions, no complaints. Liked the replay rate after our first 18. Went back out and got in 36 for the day.
