About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

A fun round of golf
While this course is fairly short, it’s in great condition and fun to play. I’ll be back soon!
Best Clubhouse Staff in Central Florida
Great muni course. Costs a little more than it used to, but the pace of play is up and that is well worth it. This place has the best inside staff in the area, incredibly helpful and courteous. Half the greens on the course are a mess, and half are decent. Front nine layout is a little questionable, but still very fun.
One Of The Favorites
I have been playing this course since I was a child. Now in mid-30s I am very pleased with how it has been maintained over the years compared to some other local courses. It is a smaller course with narrow fairways, scenic if you like mostly well-maintained back yards and winds through a neighborhood. Busy day at the course but still managed a 3 hour round. Having a hot dog at the clubhouse between 9/10 is a past time.
Carts were fairly nice, built-in club washers could be upgraded on some carts we noticed. Greens were also in fairly good condition (but that's a good thing). Some cart paths, especially on the front 9 and par 3s could be more well-defined and maintained couple of hard bumps along the way.
Overall, a great experience, always eager to return.

Worth playing again...
A quirky course...with a par 5 that's under 400 yards...a couple of par 4s barely over 200 yards, and a couple of par 3s that are around 190. Tight off of some tees (especially if you fade the ball). All water is lateral so no forced carries. A lot of fun!
Hidden gen
The course winds through a relatively urban neighborhood which means some of the layout is constrained. Nevertheless, the course is fun and the pace of play was excellent. The staff define friendliness. The course was a bit wet from recent rains and there was standing water in a few holes. The sand traps were being refurbished so some were free lift areas. The greens speeds are a bit inconsistent and the condition of some was a bit ragged. Even so, the course offered a nice challenge and I so enjoyed it I am going back in a couple days for another rounds.
