Winter Park Pines Golf Club

Great short 18 hole course tucked inside a small older neighborhood. The track is fairly basic with straight shots and several nice gentle doglegs, all speckled with bunkers, lined by old growth trees, and a creek or water hazard looming about. The conditions were very good and there are a lot of course renovations being made. This course would be a nice challenge for a beginner, just right for the average golfer, and perhaps an under par day for a really good golfer. The pace of the round was nice and the staff were friendly as well. Two nice cart features I really liked were the GPS systems and the club/ball cleaner. Wish all courses had these. There is a beverage cart on Saturdays. The facility has a small but nice pro shop as well as restaurant/bar with decent food and beverages. A nice outdoor patio area is just outside with an Ice/water machine. Really nice feature. Overall a really nice course for your average golfer looking for a good time.

Had an early tee time at 7:30 course was not full and they forced me to play with 5 other people. I did not know this was their policy. I did not play and decided to leave before the first hole. I was not able to get my money back due to booking through a third party. Could not reach or contact the third party which is golf now this website. So I lost the 65 dollars they cha fed to play on this course. Unless you have your own party of 4+ and have all day to play I would. Not recommend this course. Also I. Plus I cannot get a rain check or voucher because I do not live there and was only visiting for the week.

Wait a few weeks before playing unless you want to pay for “practice” only because the course is playing really really short.

The course was going thru aeration so there we’re shorter fairways and the course was not up to its usual good condition however

The staff at the club house is excellent. I really miss the old winter park pines.

This is a superb value for the money. There is not many hazards or issues in play so it is all on your shot making. The pins are there for you to get. If you can get them then do it you will be able to string pars together. Birdies are also waiting for you. I definitely was able build confidence with my shots. This course is a lot of fun. Go get yourself some birds and pars.

17 out of 18 tee boxes were under reconstruction. No Information to players on GolfNow. Waste of time and money. Will take time to be back to normal conditions.

Every course has to do maintenance I’m aware of that but they’re currently redoing all the tee boxes on the course and they’ve made much closer temporary boxes . On some of the part three you could probably throw the ball to the green. I mean if you like short courses go, but I would recommend waiting until they get done with the boxes.

Unreal—each T-Box was being redone and they pushed us up big time towards the greens. One par 3 was 50 yards from the hole. I actually hooked and putted the hole. Made the green.

We went to the 10th hole and there were two groups of 4 at the Tee. They didn’t start them on the 1st so me and my friend decided to play the first 9 again.

Temp tee boxes make an already short course shorter. Still it's just a different club for tee off.

The course was under major renovation to the tee boxes and other areas as well. In fact the course should have been closed during this period. In fairness, the construction had been announced prior to my booking a tee time, but I didn’t realize the extent of the construction.

The greens were slow and not mowed and the tee boxes were all being replaced. Even if the course was in better condition, it still does not warrant a $50-60 greens fee, more like $25-30.
