About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

It was evident work was being done. Lots of newly planted sod. Bunkers were softer. Fairway grass real nice. Tee boxes were overseeded but lumpy, crowned and sloped. Pace of play was good . For a short course a little pricey at $50.

Fun course
Haven’t golfed here for a few months and wow what a facelift! The new outdoor seating area is a fantastic addition. People are friendly and this course is fun to play!
Even when it’s busy you barely have to wait - good pace of play!!!
CJ is the man
Cj assisted my wife and I with a quick and easy rain check after being rained out early in our round. Play here all the time, course is always in great shape despite the traffic it gets everyday.

Loved the condition of the course. We only played 9 holes
slippers
Course is very playable and in good shape. Every green was freshly scuffed yesterday by the groups in front of us around 1030-40. Couldn't pick up their feet to save their life, didn't fix ball marks either. Let's try to keep this place nice.

Things are so much better all around at this course. So glad the city bought it, greens so much better than before.
I don’t like the layout of this course
I try to play twice a week and to keep from playing the same courses over and over again I play Winter Pines 3 or four times a year …it’s tight ….there were five par threes on the back nine …the front is not bad ….back nine has five mostly 200 yard par threes it just it’s like why did they do that? It’s relatively easy be a good place for a beginner. It’s obviously convenient to Winter Park and I just don’t like it out. It’s not a real golf courses far as I’m concerned.

Played 18 holes last week and was very pleased overall. Course was in good condition, friendly staff and overall decent value. Would recommend…

We were able to play a fairly quick round. We finished in 4 hours exactly..

Been a year since WP bought the course...So Much Better! Greens are actually 'greens', many improvements, greatly appreciated!
New management has taken good care
New management has taken good care Of the course. It’s in much better shape. I still don’t like the layout. Too many par 3’s. They should add tee boxes and turn a couple into par 4’s.
WP Pines In Great Shape for the Volume of Play Daily
With as many rounds that are played at this course every day, It is in great shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food and beverage selection is well rounded.
Greens smooth and true. Fairways in good condition as well.
Will play many more rounds here!
