About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

Don't Sleep On This One
Absolutely perfect course for beginners and juniors yet still being fun for more experienced players. Fairways and greens in great shape, and could see that more improvements are in progress. We had a great time!
The City ruined it.
Used to be my home course but it’s just not worth the money anymore. Their no cooler policy is crazy in the summer heat, even though I showed the starter it was just ice water and a wet towel to stay cool he made me put it back in my car. Greens were the slowest in Orlando.
Ridiculous “Rules”
I’ve golfed here countless times but recently they’ve invested a lot in “upgrading” the course and carts. Normally, this would be great but unfortunately the upgrade in stuffy attitude that’s gone along with it is annoying. Played with a foursome of friends and we had three bags fully planning on one cart sharing a bag. They made us rent a bag because it’s “protocol” to have one bag per person. This had zero effect on pace of play because my friend didn’t even use them we still shared clubs. Also, we paid for a round starting at 5 PM including carts. For some reason we were required to have the carts back by 7:45…. Not enough time to play 18. And we ended up not being able to finish 18 due to having to walk the last 6 holes after returning the carts. Loosen up guys it’s not that serious….
Great value, great pace of play
I was a single from out of town. Was pleased with the players I hooked up with, course layout , condition and pace of play. Great value
Great course
They do pair you up with randoms and share carts. So that could alter your experience. We had a great time though
Simple, honest, great golf
Open course with a few hazards. The course was in great shape, although at present there is some drainage improvements going on. Honestly, didn’t even notice it. The pro shop is basic but nice, range is mats only, but a good deal if you’re looking to hit some balls at $3/$8 a bucket. The restaurant/bar at the turn is very reasonably priced and a great place to end a round. I love it!
