About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

UCFGA friends
Played a morning round with friends from the UCFGA league for a friendly Wednesday round. Everyone played reasonably well and scored in the low to high 80,s. Have been playing this course since the early 70,s.

Already Great and Still Getting Better
Love this course, only issues there ever were pace of play and condition of greens. Both issues have been fixed by the City of Winter Park ownership. On top of that they seem to be constantly improving the facility. The GPS carts are a little finicky, but I imagine that can be dialed in with time. Great course.
nice muni
After playing a similarly priced course that was burned out, it was a pleasure to play here. Yes, the greens were a bit slow but they were consistent and lush. The rest of the course was enjoyable and I will definitely play here again.
Greatly Improved Conditions
Personally have not played the course in 8 years. Last time I played, the course was in rough shape. Temporary greens, the whole nine yards. Finally decided to try it again recently. Found out the city had taken the course over after the owner failed to sell the course for development. In such a short time that the city has run the course, there are amazing signs of improvement on the course. Right off the bat, there's facelift renovations occurring at the clubhouse, and more improvement projects occurring around the course. There are signs of the poor condition the course used to be in, but the production I saw gives me hope that things will continue to improve.
UCFGA
Played in overcast conditions and rather windy. A slight rain drizzle in the afternoon nine. Course played longer in spots due to the weather. Everyone had a great time and the scores were descent.
Great Course!!
This place is just phenomenal. I am new to the sport and did not feel intimidated at any time. From staff to players, everyone has been very friendly, so far. Great place and will be coming back soon.
Great little course!
Really shocked with how well this course played. Such a fun layout and the course conditions were clearly taken care of. The clubhouse manager Mark was super hospitable and I will definitely be coming back to play this course again. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens were in great shape! The carts are even upgraded with the GPS screen add on

Much improved since WP took it over. Like how the Pro shop 'calls' the tee box on outdoor PA.
Short, pretty course in good condition set amongst houses. 7 par 3s, par 4s mostly short, & two short par 5s that should be par 4s. Pace of play was very slow . A lot of fourballs on foot. Green fees very reasonable.
Nice course
This place is very nice. Me and my wife are just starting to play golf and never felt intimidated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
