Winter Park Pines Golf Club
About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

I used to live in the area and would play the Pines frequently as a cheap last minute option just to get out. In my first time playing the course again in almost a year the feel of it is a whole different course, much better. We’ll manicured, truer greens, fairways well kept.
The conditions have really improved here and my group had a great time out there, will be playing here more often and not the last minute 18 like usual
Course got much better in just 1 month
Played this course almost 1 month ago and fairways were much better, they were very nice and so were the greens.New owners seem to be putting many efforts and money to make this course nicer.
Great course
The course was in good condition and the greens were too.
GREAT GOLF COURSE
We are from Nova Scotia and stay very close to Winter Pines Golf Course. It’s actually the only course we use. We’ve been golfing there for eight years! The staff is very friendly! The price has gone up since the new ownership but that doesn’t matter.
Good course, poor experience
The course itself and staff are great. The problem is that with it being more of a value/exec course is that it attracts more of the casual/beginner golfers. I’m not a great golfer by any means (17 HCP), so this isn’t meant to look down on those with less skill or experience. The issue is the lack of golf etiquette and awareness for pace of play by others who play here on a consistent basis, which is the byproduct of less golfing experience.
Fun course, great price
It was a fun time playing this course. It wasn't long and very playable. If you're the country club, high end golf course type... This is NOT the course for you. However if you're wanting to actually play and not feel rushed by "good golfers" and not spend a paycheck on the day, This is the course for you.
Nice course. Friendly staff
Had a good time at the Pines. Nice course for what you pay on fees. Very reasonably priced. Pro shop staff very welcoming and organized. Will definitely be back.
Just not worth the price anymore.
The staff are really the only redeeming quality to the Pines now. They are awesome. But for the new prices there, you can go to better courses in the area.
