About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

Course is forgiving
First time playing here and I would say for the price it was worth every dollar. Greens and fairways are well kept. Tee boxes are a little rough. Very open and wide fairways makes it a forgiving course if you can’t drive the ball straight down the middle. Definitely coming back.

Great if you play like an absolute loser
Any serious golfers would like Congo river better than that trash heap.

Overall Great Experience!
Only took 2 hours to play 18 holes. Great pace of play and course was in great condition. Greens were a touch slow due to some rain, but overall I had an amazing time!

Good time Local Course
Winter Pines is 3.5 miles from my home and is a real treat to drive 10 minutes to play a nice course. It is especially during the week as it is less crowded although I have been told it is the most played course in Central Florida. It is kept quite nice, super staff, nice range, and challenging enough for this senior duffer. Just Good times at a good rate.

Nice fairways, okay greens, poor tee boxes
Pros:
Good price for range balls
Practice putting green was nice
Fairways were in great shape
Cons:
Range was on a slope
Poor organization of tee times
Pace of play was terrible
Feet were never level on tee box
Grass on greens was very thick

Good deal
Used a hot deal in this day. Tee time was 1125 and was paired up with 3 others. Pace was very good, but can be slow on this course often. Back 9 has a bunch of par 3’s, that may be why. Good value course.
