The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

This course conditions will always be in bad shape until the owners hire a company that knows how to maintain it. If the owners can afford to purchase a golf course, they can afford to maintain it daily throughout the year.
Nice layout, horrible greens
The fairways are not too bad, the tee off are so so but the greens are horrible. There is many large spots with no grass at all.
have played here many times. the course was not in the best of shape. the greens were in bad shape, & the fairways could use some grass in a lot of places.

Played there 2 weeks ago. Wasn't in as bad of shape. The greens were terrible . Not much grass on the greens.
So for the money it was not worth it!
Greens need work
Very slow play. Greens were horrible. Biggest problem was they were all different. Some fast as glass, others slow. No consistency. There were three of us and they booked another player with us who was totally obnoxious. It got much, much worse after he started drinking. The cart girl should be trained to recognize this. Overall, not a really good day of golf. Every player, on every hole, should get a first "free putt" to gauge the green on that particular hole.
What could be
Greens are quite rough. All of them. Combination of good grass, dead grass and dirt. Maybe encounter all 3 during one stroke. Fairway were ok and tee boxes were hit or miss. No water on course but they do have a beverage cart now with average prices. Pace of play was good. Fun links style layout though. Carts in good shape. Just needs some care.
Worst Greens EVER?????
Just played here yesterday. At least 14 of the greens are a disaster. VERY little grass left, many patches of just compacted mud. Many of the actual holes are caving in at the edges. Fairways are sparse and hard as a rock.
It took OVER 5 hours to play. I will NOT be back anytie soon. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Greens need some TLC
The greens need some work. They are getting spotty with some bare spots.
Fun course
It was a busy day, but we had a lot of fun! The course was great and challenging! Give it a try and you’ll see.
