Micke Grove Golf Links
About
Located in the Central Valley, Micke Grove Golf Links is surrounded by scenic vineyards. The course is mostly flat and measures to a reasonable 6,565 yards from the back tees, but it is not to be underestimated. There are some tough holes including the par-5 fifth, which requires an accurate tee shot in order to avoid the hazards on both the left and right. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but it is a fairly straightforward layout that is not too intimidating for beginners. The large greens can sometimes be tricky. Eight lakes also come into play throughout the golf course and there are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greens and fairways. The signature hole is the par-3 14th. This 179-yarder calls for a tricky carry over water.

Great Course.
Great course. Challenges you to use all the clubs in your bag. Recent rain kept from mowing. Greens were unusually furry.
Starter , Juan was very friendly and professional. My son and I arrived a little early and Juan worked us in with great timing allowing us to warm up.
Was really one of the best days of Golf I have experienced in quite some time.
Thank you Juan.
Good weather, good course.
The weather was a little less than promised by the weather report and the course had several trees that had fallen and
had not been removed yet, but they did not interfere with play. The greens snd fairways were in good conditon and we experienced no hidden hazards.
The staff was friendly and attentive and we got right on the course at our tee time.
Overbooked
Had early tee time took 40 min past are tee time to get on the 1st hole then only got to the 13th hole in 5 hours didn't even get to play the full round had to leave. Happen twice now
Great Course, Great Staff
Great Course & Staff. They need a Marshal , more times then not. very Slow Play...
Great value
You can't beat the price, but that means a lot of novice golfers. This is inexpensive, but can be difficult. Many holes with water. A couple with water down both sides. I look forward to playing it again soon.
forced to walk
I purchased a 4some and the deal was 4 green fees with a cart. We arrived at the golf course and were told no golf carts it was too muddy. so we asked for pull carts. they only own 10 pull carts. they were all rented out. I was forced to carry my bag and walk the full 18. then we have a 2some jump in front of us between holes 9-10. it took us over 5 hours to golf. and we were refused service at the snack bar. only serving hotdogs we were told. they have a full menu that they would not serve. after we got our hotdogs and were eating they allowed another gentleman to walk up and order chicken strips. poor service very poor experience.
Great course
Great shape and course for your dollar friendliest customer service.
Fun course
This a nice course in open land, so no homes to see. It is in good shape and a great value. Tees are fair for all levels!
Slow and slammed
Fun course, but bring ALOT of beer cuz your going to wait 5 minutes on every shot.
A NorCal Favorite
It's probably a favorite of mine since I shot my best round here ever (69) in 2012. Whenever back in the area I always like to play it on a golf now deal. They since swapped the front and back and things were backed up on the front, so I had hot deal with cart, is was overcast with threatening rain, so I took it upon myself to go off the back (old front) 9. Ripped thru it pretty quick in a cart. Record round was safe from going down but still had a good round. I like the challenge of target gold on several holes and forced carries on a few as well as some tempting short cuts if you've got the guts here. Greens were a little on the not as great as I remember side. But since I'm partial to this track I didn't let that bug me.
Courteous staff and players!
Shorter yardage from white tees made birdies possible. Hazards were minimal, except one par five with water on both sides of narrow fairway! Very enjoyable.
The course has excellent greens.
The staff are very nice and professional! Greens are great condition and lay out is golfer friendly!
Needs signage
Micke Grove provided challenges on and around the course. On the course - good layout - good challenge. Around the course - no signs to tell players what holes they are on or how to get to the next hole. Just following the cart path can lead you to the wrong hole.
Course needs signage
Had not played the course in many years. Teed off on what used to be #1. Played the hole then realized while on 2 tee box the nines had been reversed. Went over to the current #1 and played our round in 4 1/2 hours. No signage or yard markers on par 3s made club selection challenging. Lack of signage on entire course was perplexing. Playing on a Sunday during a 3 day weekend for $20 per player including cart was a value. Bunkers needed sand. Green's were in fairly good shape.
In need a Marshall
Course is in good shape, great value for the price. Group in front was waiting for twosome to get off every green before teeing off. Course needs marshals I worse way to speed up round. 5:30 hour round on a Wednesday is a bit much..
T'was a fun day
The course was trimmed well, fairway was great. The greens were well maintained as well as the tee box.
The only thing that day was a Friday and surprisingly slow. It was not as busy but there were no Marshalls to move slow players along. We played 18 hole for threesome, started at 10:08 and finished at 4:15. It was terribly slow.
Water Havoc
The water hazards can be tough otherwise the course layout is very good. Although some dry areas overall the course is in pretty good shape. It's a fun course to play if you play it consistently.
this is a good value for the course
the course was in good shape little to much water on the fairways. The bathrooms and clubhouse were filthy. They are remolding bathrooms in clubhouse so I waited until we got to the bathroom on the course instead of using the portables at the club house, big mistake the bathroom obviously had not been cleaned for several months, the portable was the better choice.
Great course.
This is a great course for your buck.
