Micke Grove Golf Links
About
Located in the Central Valley, Micke Grove Golf Links is surrounded by scenic vineyards. The course is mostly flat and measures to a reasonable 6,565 yards from the back tees, but it is not to be underestimated. There are some tough holes including the par-5 fifth, which requires an accurate tee shot in order to avoid the hazards on both the left and right. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but it is a fairly straightforward layout that is not too intimidating for beginners. The large greens can sometimes be tricky. Eight lakes also come into play throughout the golf course and there are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greens and fairways. The signature hole is the par-3 14th. This 179-yarder calls for a tricky carry over water.

Good everyday Course
Not the greatest course but average length decent greens very enjoyable. Good bang for your buck!
Good for novice play
Love this course. Maintained well, great course for novice play. It's wide open with some challenging holes. I would recommend this course to anyone. This is a home course for me and love playing it. They always have great deals.
Golf Carts
My golf cart ran out of juice two times. Get new golf carts!!!!!
to many people on the course
you have to wait to long to tee off
This course needs more restrooms
They need to add more restrooms on the course even if there just port -a- potties.
Disappointing Demise
Have played Micke Grove since they opened. Conditions were just okay. Lack of maintenance over the years have resulted in uneven tee boxes, terrible range facilities(balls especially), and less than desirable greens (understandable given the time of year).
Clientele resulted in less than desirable conditions as well. Groups with blaring music in their carts was a little annoying. I understand the trend, but must be kept at a reasonable level. Also, one cart had it's windshield pulled off and it was left at a tee box. Not really sure why somebody wouldn't keep it in the cart for it to be fixed upon return. I'm guessing the great prices found on golfnow.com contribute to this.
There really should be marshals on the course. Especially peak times - we played mid-day Sunday. Groups were stacked on the tee box and it took almost 5 hours to play.
Good Value Course
I play this course quite a bit usually 2-3 times a month. This is what I would call an under rated course. It's way better than some courses near it and usually cheaper too. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens rolled true. Slope of 124 from the white tees is still a pretty good test with water coming into play on 7 holes. Good course for the money.
First time experience
I not a great golfer, but i love play the game. If you don't let the trains on one side, The cars on the other side, and Some golfer who like to YELL, you will find the course fun to play. Three wood off the tee is always your best bet, PLEASE keep the ball in the fairways. The hazards are unforgiving, the greens slope and are fast, but read true. the pace was good, my foursome was slow, so have fun playing there.
Slow play and no marshal.....:(
I got to the course about 45 minutes early, the guy in the club house told me he would call me up. My tee times came and went and no one was called up, though several groups went out. I had to go back into the pro shop and remind the guy I was still there. With no one managing the first tee the course gets backed up quickly. I like this course but it gets to backed up.
Did no know it was a shotgun start.
If I had just walked in and signed up at the pro shop it would have been cheaper and I would have received 2 drink tokens.
Beautiful Course
One of the best within 50 miles. Just the right difficulty.
Late and slow
Got to the course half an hour early. Found out I was booked behind a tournament (wasn't told) so didn't get to the tee until 45 minutes after time. When we did start it took 2 1/2 hour for he front 9 so I was not able to even play the back because of time constraints. Nice folks to play with but there are better courses in the area for the price.
Good price
Pace us tooooo sloooow. Carts are dirty and bunkers don't have sand.
Micke Grove
love the course but not the pace of play! Was a beautfiul day in Northern California though
Good course
Good overall condition. Need a marshal to enforce rules and advise new players when to let others that are much quicker play through.
Very slow, pro shop apathy
My tee time was 12:06. I was told there was a tourney, so I'd go out 20 min later (pro shop operator didn't seem to care about this at all).
Actually got on course at 1:00. Then the round took 5 1/2 hours to complete.
Golf course was in good shape, but they operate this course very poorly and don't seem to care, I don't plan on returning.
Good course to play for the $$$
The only bad thing is the website kept crashing when I tried to reserve a tee time at golf now...very fustrating.
