Micke Grove Golf Links
About
Located in the Central Valley, Micke Grove Golf Links is surrounded by scenic vineyards. The course is mostly flat and measures to a reasonable 6,565 yards from the back tees, but it is not to be underestimated. There are some tough holes including the par-5 fifth, which requires an accurate tee shot in order to avoid the hazards on both the left and right. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but it is a fairly straightforward layout that is not too intimidating for beginners. The large greens can sometimes be tricky. Eight lakes also come into play throughout the golf course and there are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greens and fairways. The signature hole is the par-3 14th. This 179-yarder calls for a tricky carry over water.

Always a delight
Micke Grove Golf Links has always been a favorite course of mine to play. I hole my second hole in one there and my fond memories of that event still remain deeply ectched in my brain.
Course is in great shape, well maintained and the greens groomed! great value!
As expected
Didn't expect much more than a public course with a lot of use would offer. The staff in the pro shop were great. Very customer oriented. But more below on this. The range was a bit dry and worn out. Time to move the hitting area, but most of the balls were pretty good. I like the layout here offering some good challenging holes. So, making the turn we went from 9 directly to 10 and found that a lot of players must of hung out eating & drinking inside because there was no one but one group on 1 when the 2 of us Tee'd off, and now a 4-some we didn't recognize on 10. Also, there was a single following us on the front nine w/ people up his rear. He finally joined us on 10, and then on 11 another single caught up! So finally on a Saturday we had a 4-some. This should have been organized in the 1st place on a busy day by the pro shop. My only real gripe even though they were "nice" in there, they should be able to manage play. Also, not sure if there was even a marshall on course or not. But it wouldn't matter if there are singles & 2-somes bunched up anyway. A lot of details, so hope it helps you!
Great course
Beautiful course greens were in very good shape except for the jerks who don't fix their divots. The staff was nice the pace on the course was fast but not rushed. Had a great round broke 90 like the second time in my life
Thanks for nothing Juan
My brother and I attempted to play 9 holes around noon on a Saturday. We played 3.5 holes in 1.5 hours. After waiting on every tee box for 15+ min I asked JUAN, who ran the shop, if that was normal. He said yes. JUAN also attempted to overcharge me and my brother, after I asked for a student or veteran deal. I had to show him their own website. "I suppose we can do that". He tried to take me for more money than he should have then told me to kick rocks after the most miserable golf experience of my life. I will never be back.
Fun track for the money
Played alone after work and enjoyed it. It was priced right through Golf Now. In decent shape, if people would just fix their ball marks on the green and respect the course!!!!! Will definitely play there again , as I work in Lodi.
to slow
Constantly overbooked. Took 10 minutes between every shot. Took 3 hours to play the front nine and over 7 hours to complete.
Nice Course, Overcrowded
Love playing at this course but as of recently it is just too crowded. It seems like they are ok with letting groups of 6 to 8 people out at a time. its a bit disconcerting when you see five cards rolling down one fairway. We had a group of 3 play last Saturday and teed off around 11:00. Every hole we were 2 groups deep waiting to tee off. We finally called it a day after 9 holes in 3 hours.
On a positive note: Its really nice to see they now have beer cart out on the course.
This course was a great course for the price. The only problem I had was my GPS wasn't set right. The first nine was actually the last nine.
Mickey Grove On-Line T-Time Booking
Very unfortunate as the golf course either overbooked T-Times or something , but they had no golf carts (which we paid for on-line) .. there were four 4-somes ahead of us waiting for carts to come in from an earlier booked tournament. So, in order to play on time, we had to walk the first 9 holes. Very Hot and very uncomfortable when we weren't expecting to do that. Because we had to go as soon as we checked in if we wanted to beat the foursomes waiting for carts, we didn't have time to eat. So, we waited to make the turn. Unfortunately, play was extremely slow so when we made the turn, the snack bar was closed.
GREAT Course!!!
We had a GREAT golf experience at this course!!!
Not only was the course terrific, but so was the service. Thank you!!!

Best personal round of my life
I haven't been here in quite a while. My friend wanted to play some skins from the white tees. I usually play from the blues and haven't broke 80 since I was in high school. Well today was the day. I shot a 75 and broke my personal best by a stroke!
AERIFICATION
They aerification the greens and there was no notice. Back nine hole the pins were put in the fairways. Sand all over the greens. I hope next time they put out a notice that they have AERIFICATION ALERT
