Micke Grove Golf Links
About
Located in the Central Valley, Micke Grove Golf Links is surrounded by scenic vineyards. The course is mostly flat and measures to a reasonable 6,565 yards from the back tees, but it is not to be underestimated. There are some tough holes including the par-5 fifth, which requires an accurate tee shot in order to avoid the hazards on both the left and right. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but it is a fairly straightforward layout that is not too intimidating for beginners. The large greens can sometimes be tricky. Eight lakes also come into play throughout the golf course and there are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greens and fairways. The signature hole is the par-3 14th. This 179-yarder calls for a tricky carry over water.

Can't Beat The Deal!!
GolfNow $20.00 per player including cart.... This was on a Saturday too!! Greens were impeccable. I highly recommend
Great shape
The course was in great shape, the bunkers need some work but the greens were pretty good and the fairways were excellent.
MICKE GROVE G.L.
greens were nice cart's were clean fairway's nice water and sand risk reward good.
slow play
Slow play no marshals to speed up the people who think they are pros.
slowest pace of play in the valley.
Book as many people regardless of allocating time in between tee times. Average round takes five hours plus. The food has significantly decreased in variety and taste since under new management.
Great place but to slow
Overall great course but need to get people to play ready golf, maybe a marshal would help.
Another 5+ hour round
This is the last time I'll ruin a round of golf at this course. My group has played here 4 or 5 times in the last few years, and each time pace of play has been an issue. Ironic since they promote that they have signed the "Pace of Play Pledge" in their email blasts. Since I only get out once a week, I don't need the frustration of waiting on every shot because of over crowding.
Not as good as last year
Course was dry, greens bumpy, and the tee boxes were in bad shape.
Great potintial
Exceptionally slow greens and slow pace of play. Slow club house check-in service . 11:15 tee time actual start time was 11:42 . 5 hours and 10 minutes is truly an unacceptible round time. Most effecient person was drink girl. Never saw a Marshall or a Rangef.
Great round
Micke Grove is a great facility that played fairly steady even though it was obviously very busy. 4 hours 15 min to play the 18.will definitely return
Friendly staff
Good people..well cared for course..good price. The course is flat and open so when the wind is blowing things get much tougher.
Fun layout .... great city course.
Well maintained golf course. Lots of fun for every player. Nice driving range.
Solid
Nothing extraordinary, fairly challenging course. Good quality for the money especially from rates on golf now.
Drainage
Unreal played the day after it poured rain and not bit of water standing. Greens are in great shape and redoing most of tee boxes. For $25 with a cart on a weekend you CAN NOT go wrong!
Overbooked
Played on a Monday and took almost 3 hours to finish front 9. Payed for 18 but went home after 9 because of course being overbooked. Same problem when I played there last time. Good value if you book through Golf Now otherwise overpriced.
Did not know what to expect
Our tee time was 10:49. Got there at 10:20 and checked in. Was told we were on time and explained front and back 9 had been switched. Loaded up and waited to be called. Went to the first tee and teed off right around our tee time. We were a twosome and there were foursomes in front of us and in back of us. Play went smoothly and we moved along with hardly any waiting...I was pleasantly surprised....
Course in great shape
Micke Grove is a "links-style" course that is a fair challenge for all golfers. The course is in great shape, playing like mid summer. Fairways are tight. If you stray too far from the fairway, they're letting the rough grow long making it tough to find a ball and tough to play out of. Greens were fast and subtle. I didn't make many putts.
The day I played the pace of play was horrible. Where were the marshals? We were three deep on #2 and 7. 3 hour front nine! 5 hour 20 minute round just shouldn't happen.
