About
Located in the Central Valley, Micke Grove Golf Links is surrounded by scenic vineyards. The course is mostly flat and measures to a reasonable 6,565 yards from the back tees, but it is not to be underestimated. There are some tough holes including the par-5 fifth, which requires an accurate tee shot in order to avoid the hazards on both the left and right. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but it is a fairly straightforward layout that is not too intimidating for beginners. The large greens can sometimes be tricky. Eight lakes also come into play throughout the golf course and there are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greens and fairways. The signature hole is the par-3 14th. This 179-yarder calls for a tricky carry over water.

Good weather before the storms hit. Obviously overbooked.
As always we enjoy playing this course but today was extremely slow due to several beginners and fivesome groups. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We couldn’t finish the game before it was getting dark but the price was good. We will have to come back when the weather gets better. Thanks GolfNow.
Great welcome from all
We played this course 6 times during our stay. Not always the quickest of rounds but a very friendly experience. Staff great. Course a little wet in places but a good challenge where course management paid off. Good practice facilities. If you need a lesson - lady pro Dawn was excellent. Would def play again & would recommend to visitors.

It was pretty windy but not terrible!
Course is in good shape!
If I am going to have a couple complaints it would be other players not repairing ball marks on the greens! And the goose crap!
Perfect weather and friendly players.
A little crowded with so many players enjoying the perfect fall weather. Had much fun. Good score.
Saturday at the Grove
Always like playing this course. Today it was windy but made for a challenging round.
Nice course.
The course was I. Good shape. The only problem was the bunkers needed to be raked. Baked hard. Other then that course is good.
First timer
What a fun round, I’ve heard stories of slow pace, as a threesome, we did it in in 3.5 hours. Overall conditions were excellent, fairways, tee boxes and greens = 5 stars. The only negative thing I came across was the bunkers, yea I hit 2 of them! And they were like playing off concrete or hard pack.
Good course
Good course but there was a lot of dry spots and sometimes ground was really hard.
Under-rated Course
I play here a lot and it is a good track.
Condition is excellent, except for the bunkers. As with most courses in the area, the bunkers are awful.
Everything else is in great shape; greens are excellent and faster than 10 days ago.
Very good layout
Course has a good layout for all levels of golfers. Roughs need to be better maintained, haven’t been cut in awhile, but overall this is a good place to play. Staff is very friendly.
Slow pace as usual.
Perfect weather, friendly staff but very slow pace of the play, due poor or no management of the course and play. Seems like they always overbooked. This time, the players were friendlier than other times.
Good Public Course
Micke is solid. Nice people, good design, conditions were pretty good except for the sand traps. They were awful.
Greens were excellent; fairways good, tee boxes average at best.
Saturday...too slow
Everything was as it should be except that it was unbearably slow!
We finally left before playing the 16th hole and played 7, 8, and 9 to get back in!
Stuff happens I suppose!

I am glad to see that the staff is better than in the past! They were friendly and did a good job getting people started to the first tee!
I even played well which is a nice bonus.
