I came from rocket city, alabama. My son in law boasted about this course and it was excellent. not really busy. well laid out and i thought it was challenging.. I will play here again, great value for the money. .

Slow Play
Pretty nice course. Fairways were decent and greens were very good. Played very slowly. Really need a Marshall to keep the pace of play moving. Took almost 5 hours to complete a round.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Amazing layout and in great condition (just be sure to finish well before dusk)
This course is beautiful, long, and has very fast greens. We really enjoyed playing here and had a fantastic time up until the 18th hole. The sun had not set yet, but a teenage kid in a Marshall cart came out and pulled the pin from the 18th hole while we were hitting our approach shot! I can understand moving people off when it is dark but not while there is still light on the last hole. It made for a frustrating ending to an otherwise great day.

Harassment from guy in pro shop
The guy in pro shop didn’t allow me to play my round was yelling and being belligerent and trying to belittle me I feel sorry for him and told him to have a great day I would stay far away from this place worst customer service I have received on a long time anywhere.

Best conditions ever
Fairways are lush, and greens trimmed tighter than an army recruit. Pin Placement that Tuesday was like Augusta on a sunday - very challenging. But as fun as ever.

RTJ had vision
This course includes creative layout with risk/reward options that challenge the heart and mind. Fallen out of repair to some degree but still enough beauty to please the eye. Great greens! Receptive and offering a mix of breaking patterns to keep things interesting! Fun Day!

Best practice facility and a great course
It’s clear that this course is on the mend. Greens were punched a few weeks ago and were fully recovered within two weeks! The greens are mint at the moment.
Most bunkers are in great shape and there are very few spot around the course that are bare.
If you are in the area, this is also the best short game practice facility you’ll find.

Sloppy soup with a side of mud
Before I get to the "course condition", I want to address the girl at the cafe/bar. I brought her the ice chest from the golf cart and she put two scoups of ice in it. Then she tells me it's $2.00. I tell he "no" so she dumps the ice into her sink and sends me back to my cart without ice. The ice she dumped melts into the sink instead of going out with us on our $240 round (foursome). The course never told "Golfnow" that they were "over-seeding" and that they were "over-watering" the course. It was super wet and soggy everywhere on the course. Not a good day of golf by any means. And definitely not worth the money. Some bunkers had white sand, but most had brown dirt/rocks in them. Tee boxes were slippery. Golf shoes were full of mud. Of course this place could have done a lot better for their patrons, but they either don't care or they are not capable of thinking things through. Hopefully next year they won't water as much, or offer a discount, or close the course for a month while the seeds grow.

Very nice course with beautiful views and good greens! Great twilight rate of $49 for a quality course! Give it a try!
