Just 7 miles west of downtown Riverside, Paradise Knolls Golf Club tee times will open the door to an 18-hole, par 72, course that plays 6,281 yards from the back tees, and has a slope rating of 117. Designed by Bill Wood, and opened in 1964, the course uses a combination of tree-lined fairways and greenside bunkers to create a fun, and challenging day of golf. The signature hole at Paradise Knolls is the par 3, 12th hole, which plays 230 yards from the tips, and has a green, which slopes front to back, and left to right. There is also one small lake on the course, which sits greenside of the short par 4, 5th hole. The hole plays 275 yards from the back tees, enticing players to try to drive the green, which does have a small opening between the water and a front left bunker.
Many players have made good use of their Riverside golf deals at Paradise Knolls and in addition to the great golf enjoyed their instructional programs, run by PGA Professional staff, the large practice putting green, and their 2,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for banquets, tournaments, and weddings. Comments from others following their Riverside tee times paints a nice picture of their experiences at Paradise Knolls Golf Club, finding the course fun and enjoyable.

Great course for the value!
Paradise Knolls is a great walkable course for the value. I walked 18 holes yesterday for $19. There are two sets of tees (foreword & tips). The staff is friendly. The course itself doesn't have a ton of trouble and is very fair and playable. Rumors are abound that it's closing in a year. Please get out there soon before it's gone. Paradise Knolls has a "muni" feel and is the best value near Riverside (located in Jurupa Valley). It will be a sad day for golfers if in fact this place does eventually close. This course is fair, fun, and an enjoyable 18.
Good value, fairly easy.
Greens are relatively fast, cut short. Fairways are manicured crabgrass: easy to hit off but hard to generate spin. Use a high spinning ball if you want to hold the hard greens. Shots <50 yards are tricky due to the funky kushiness of the crabgrass. Carts work well. Tall can of bud light was $4.25. Restrooms smell a little and remind me of a Carl's Jr. Restroom. Clientele was courteous and let me play through. Finished in 2:45 as a single.
Nice course
This course is a nice course!!! Fairways in good shape. Greens needed attention due to golfers not repairing their ball marks- not a fault of management. Ran into slow play on the back nine. Overall a pleasant day of golf!!
Don't Go To This Course if you are in a Hurry
We had the worst experience at this course ever. We have golfed here at least 12 times in the last year and the last two times it has been overbooked and taken forever. This past Sunday was a first, there was a group with small kids in front of us. The kids weren't more than 6 or 7 years old and the parents let them golf. It took 5 1/2 hours to complete the course. My husband got into a verbal altercation with another golfer on the course because they had 3 carts with 4 golfers and were even slower than the group with kids. When we called the desk to complain, no one came out to resolve the problem. They were unsympathetic and frankly did not care. They need someone to monitor the play at this course. I will not go back to this course again, even though it is close to my house.
pace of play was horrible
First nine holes took only 1:15, then we get to the back nine and we had about 4 or five foresomes who are able to buy a nine hole round and start in the back. Let's just say that's a stupid idea. All the groups who started early morning all of a sudden have to wait about 10 min on each hole just to tee off. Back nice took close to 2:30 because of this. One suggestion: don't start the nine hole players on the back nine!!!! You're holding up the whole golf course and upsetting everyone, and you weren't willing to own up to a stupid mistake
great value
The course is in good condition. Well maintained greens. This course is great for last minute tee times very easy to get out. Pace of play is always quick. The only negative about the course is it short no real long holes.
Pretty good for a muni course !
I am always dubious about playing muni courses. This one was a pleasant surprise ! The friendly pro shop staff got me out early, the hot dog at the turn was GREAT and I had a wonderfully pleasant round of golf ! I will come back and play there again !
Great Shape
Played this course several times this year. Very fair to all players. Greens are nice and soft, fairways good and rough not bad. Overall a great value and fun place to play. Not crowded for 11 am as not many want to deal with a little heat. 85 to 90 on our day.
Great day at PK
Had a great day at Paradise Knolls. The course was best condition ever fifth time played. For the price it was great.
And NO WIND!!!!
Fun course to play but!!
Course is fun for beginner to average hacker and that is the problem. There are too many inexperienced golfers who doesn't know golf etiquette. The last two out of three weeks, inexperienced players would stand waiting on our fairway to hit their ball instead of allowing us to hit through. If the marshalls would do a better job of monitoring pace of play I would consider coming back again.
Greens sanded
Fun course. Greens were recently plugged. Could not roll putts at all. Price was good otherwise I would have been more disappointed with greens. I know this process needs to be done. Players should warned when greens are like this prior to purchasing a round of golf.
Nice day to play!
Everything went well. Excellent value for the cost!
Nice track
Nice course my buddies both said lets play here again. good course for beginners as well as better players. Well maintained Just played Black Gold and would play here before going back to B G Much more bang for your buck. I only wish they had a driving range.
great value
course is forgiving so you can try to bomb it on almost every hole, fairways are in good shape, greens were a little beat up, but I did play at 5pm so it was expected, overall is a great value
Longest golf round ever
Overall the course it maintained well. The issue I have with this course is that they overbook tee times every weekend. Management does a terrible job corilating online bookings with walk ins. The last two times I have golfed here I wasn't able to tee off on time due to lack of carts. On average, they announce us to the tee box 30 minutes later than our tee time. Worst of all, the last two times I have golfed here on a weekend it took 6 hours to finish!
Great Course Conditions
This was my first time playing Paradise Knolls and I was pleasantly surprised! The fairways and greens were immaculate!
I would recommend this course to all my friends.
Friendly course
You will enjoy of you are a novice player. A fun course for new players.
Nice greens
This course is well maintained.Got lucky they were gonna punch greens the day after we played. Even though the greens were fairly tiny they were really nice.i would recommend this course for players who doesn't really hit the ball far.
The course is in good condition
I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. The fairways were generous and the greens were well manicured. The pace of play was outstanding and the staff was as courteous as they always are. The afternoon breeze made it more difficult on the back nine, but that's usually the case here. Good course.
Slow play
Usually play a early round on Sat in less than 4 hours this day we went off behind the Men's club? They are truly wonderful gentlemen for the most part. However on this day they decided to play a criss-cross alternate shot round, that extended our round by at least 40 minutes. I had no idea what a crisis-cross play was about,so I enquired about it with gentleman that was playing in our group. He told me about the format of alternate shots and putting .we waited on every hole waiting to play! and said nothing about it to anyone. On the 16th hole the Marshall happened bye and we inquired about this pace of play, he told us that he he would ask the group in front to speed up a little. When we reached the green at 15 the group (men's club) in front of started berating the 3rd member of our party. Telling us that they could not care less if we were upset with pace, and to deal with it. Playing alternate shots maybe a good thing on Wednesday but no on Saturday morning. Paradise Knolls golf course is for everyone's enjoyment not just the Men's club.
