Just 7 miles west of downtown Riverside, Paradise Knolls Golf Club tee times will open the door to an 18-hole, par 72, course that plays 6,281 yards from the back tees, and has a slope rating of 117. Designed by Bill Wood, and opened in 1964, the course uses a combination of tree-lined fairways and greenside bunkers to create a fun, and challenging day of golf. The signature hole at Paradise Knolls is the par 3, 12th hole, which plays 230 yards from the tips, and has a green, which slopes front to back, and left to right. There is also one small lake on the course, which sits greenside of the short par 4, 5th hole. The hole plays 275 yards from the back tees, enticing players to try to drive the green, which does have a small opening between the water and a front left bunker.
Many players have made good use of their Riverside golf deals at Paradise Knolls and in addition to the great golf enjoyed their instructional programs, run by PGA Professional staff, the large practice putting green, and their 2,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for banquets, tournaments, and weddings. Comments from others following their Riverside tee times paints a nice picture of their experiences at Paradise Knolls Golf Club, finding the course fun and enjoyable.

Excellent
I play to a 5 handicap, and thought the course was a little too easy but it was windy and stormy. The greens were in perfect condition and the fairways were in very good condition. The staff was cool. The kitchen makes great breakfast burritos. Would definitely play here again. Thank you
Good time with friends
Had a good time playing here and some of the greens a drive able!! Also the green fees were cheap and came with either a free breakfast burrito or a hotdog and chips which was a surprise! And after a few beers that was great!!
Affordable but pace of play was bad
We had a group at front of us that was 2 holes behind but won't let us pass them. No Marshall available to speed those guys up. Then back 9 got worse, it appears some group started on back 9 and added to the congestion. And the bunkers barely had sand and they were hard like paved floor. I left after the 14th hole.
Fun Course & Nice People
First time I played there and was pleasantly surprised. It was a holiday (Easter) weekend and the pace was controlled very well for the amount of people on the course. Staff was great! Some fairways were a little dry but overall the greens were great and challenging. Will definitely come back.
Good time at Paradis Knolls
I haven't played in a few months so i was looking to play 9 holes only. We were able to find a last minute tee time at Paradis Knolls. We had played there about 6 months ago and had a great time. This time i brought my push cart and walked the back nine . Started at 7am and we were done befor 9. Good pace of play. Nice greens and tee. Couldn't ask for a more perfect weather and had a great time.
Great value and course
Even though I live less than 10 miles from the course, I had never played it until yesterday. Fog delayed our round's start by 40 minutes but that's not the staff's fault. Once we began, it took 4:18 to play the round which I don't think is bad for a Saturday morning that had fog on the first 4 holes. The fairways are great and the greens were in great condition. It appeared that folks were fixing their divots, likely because a lot of the golfers were a bit up in age and have respect for the game. The grill had coffee and a good enough breakfast burrito, and the after-round beer was cold, so all was good. It's not a country club so don't expect renovated or updated dining/bar area. This is golf how I enjoy it. I'll be back next week.
Super Slow
Because of all the rain we have had in California.
This course was in fantastic shape.
Being a Super Bowl Sunday, the course was extremely crowded and the wait on each tee was terrible.
Shot a terrible front nine and followed it up with a great back nine.
What do you want for $20?
The condition of the course was not very good. Greens were adequate but tee boxes and fairways leave a lot to be desired.
If you want to get in an inexpensive round of golf, this would work, but if you want a decent golf experience, this is not the place for you.
An Average Player's Opinion
It's a good value for the money. The pace of play was relatively slow, Course has no driving range or chipping area, as such, it might take at least a couple of holes to warm up.
First round at Paradise Knolls
All in all, a very pleasant round. Because the fairways were fairly narrow and adjoining, there were many balls flying all over the place. However, most golfers were respectful and I never had anyone hitting up on me, unlike some recent rounds elsewhere. From the starter until the last hole it was very fun. The fairways were in decent shape and the greens were in great shape. I would come back again. The only negatives were the lack of a practice range, or even a hitting cage, and the traffic on the 91 was horrendous on my return home.
Great
This course is always in great shape. You cant beat the price. I love playing this course!!!!!
Pace of Play
Course was if good condition. Staff was friendly. My major issue was the pace of play. I did play on Saturday, so I understand that this would play a factor. The front nine took 3 and a half hours. The back nine was even worse. I would find it hard to want to play this course again. So much so that I took the time to write this review.
Proshop attendant unhappy with his job
The guy running the proshop was not friemdly at all. We were a foursome and all of us had the same opinion- he was not happy working.
Overbooked
Played Sunday morning, 5+ hour round because it was overbooked.
