Look 👀 out for trees
Hitting from the blues. Is like the tips. Basically two club lengths away from the wall or a tee box edge. Were trees overgrown and all your shot had to have was straight and don’t think of fading it or drawing it. The course has very fast and tricky lines to read the greens. All four golf aspects of your game will be exposed if you are not careful enough this golf course challenges your ability to play. So Good luck. And be mindful of course management
Greens
The staff the tee box and the amenities are wonderful at this golf course. When landing or putting on the greens it’s like the ball is hitting concrete. The entire course is well maintained but there is something about the greens on this course. They need more love.
Fun Short Course
Love playing here, tight fairways makes you really focus on hitting It straight I’ve had my best scores here
Upland.
Course was in good condition greens were fast. Short course but have to keep ball in the fairway or your going to have a tough time in the trees.
Good course that's relatively easy
Course is lined with homes on every hole and has some tight fairways to contend with. The course conditions were good given the time of year. A bit overpriced for a short course on the weekend. Good experience but probably wouldn't come back at the rate we paid.
High price, low quality, don’t play here
I would not recommend playing here. It’s set in the middle of a retirement community with thousands of houses lining the fairway. The fairways are super tight. And if you barely miss, you are going in somebody’s back patio. The course is less than 5500 yards from the tips. And, the fairways are in really rough shape. Also every hole is laid out like the exact same. I definitely won’t play here again.
No way they should be charging $80
Where do I start! Pace of play here is slow they let singles ride separate. Course conditions are bad bunkers are hard, the greens have duck crap. No way this course should be changing $110 dollars for am tee time ( also charging $35 for riders preposterous) use to be a good place to play not anymore…. Hey upland hills you’re not a top notch course stop charging like gooses creek .. you’re better off playing San Dimas Canyon cheaper and 100 times better
Early Bird
The course was in great shape and the pace of play was excellent.
Not worth the money
This is not a bad course at all if I were paying $35-$40. It is definitely not worth the $65-$75 being paid. I was a single who got paired up. All 3 of our first time playing the course and all agreed the course was a decent little course but not worth the money.
Putting is key
The Green's where great shape and not forgiving
If you should miss. Do to the slopes your ball
Has a good chance of come back down to you or
Or just keep rolling past the cup then roll downwards. Great practice and learning lesson on how hard and fast you need to hit with multiple breaks to the cup. Enjoyed it.
excellent per usual
this is my home course and i love playing here. th staff friendly and everyone is cool. the worst part of this course are the locals who live in the houses, but they weren’t out today. it was a lovely day for golf !
Upland Hills CC
The course was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The maintenance workers were also considerate and knew when to allow play to continue.
Not worth the price to play here
For a $100-$110, Fairways are poorly kept. No one fixing divots on the greens. Staff is hit and miss. Pace of play can be ridiculous since tee times are so close together. Overall just not worth the money. We only golf here as a last resort.
Upland Hills Country Club Review – Disappointing Pace of Play
My experience at Upland Hills was extremely frustrating due to the lack of pace-of-play enforcement and what seemed like favoritism from the course staff. A slow group in front of us had at least two open holes ahead of them, creating a massive gap. When I called the marshal to address it, he instead came to me, claiming I was “hitting up” on them—despite my ball landing about 20 yards behind them. It was clear this was just an excuse to let them continue playing at their own pace without consequence.
After stopping my round and driving to the office, I passed by the group to confirm what I already suspected: hole 7 (a par 3) was completely empty, the tee box for hole 8 was also empty, and the group ahead of them was already on the green of hole 8. I took pictures of all of this as proof. This slow group started directly behind the group in front of them on hole 1, meaning the huge gap was entirely their doing. Even from the first hole, we saw them putting with no urgency, and it was obvious they were going to hold up the course. They acted like they knew they could take their time without repercussions—and they were right.
The starter was friendly, and while the manager wasn’t particularly warm about my complaint, he did provide a refund, which I appreciate. However, the way the marshal handled this situation—favoring the slow group and shifting blame onto me—made it clear that pace-of-play enforcement here is nonexistent if you’re not part of the “in” crowd. I won’t be coming back.
Price
The course was ok, but not worth the price. On the app it said less, was charged more.
Gouge course
Hundred bucks to play this course on a Saturday. We got to the 2nd hole and saw 4 guys on the tee box waiting to tee off and a line of 6 carts after them. Waited a solid 25 minutes to tee off. Was a complete disaster. Standing water and sizable stones in the bunkers. The pace of play was painfully slow. Took over 5 hours to finish. Fairways were gnarly and unkept.
I really wanted this place to work out. On its best day this course should charge $42 bucks. Not $100. No way. Off the list.
