Waste of time and money
Went to Upland Hills country club for the first time today December 27 and the pace of play was horrible probably because they allow people to walk and ride carts in the same group and they have all the tee times stacked back to back 6 to 8 minutes in between. The only thing good about this course was the greens but the water was nonexistent in the pond and the sand traps were cement definitely not worth $78 more like $25
Fun course with fast greens
I had a fun round but the greens and hole placement was tough at times.
Where's the beer card
We play there at least once a week and they never have the beer cart out on the golf course it sits out front of the clubhouse why don't they have the beer card out during the day?
Narrow, Great Conditions, No Driving Range
First time here, and wasn't really sure what to expect. Clubhouse/Pro Shop is tiny and definitely not something they put a lot of effort into. Staff was friendly, didn't offer to much other than what was needed. Checking if we had been there before, any course info, etc. For the price and expectations of a Dress-code, I was expecting a bit more formality than a rec course. Dress code wasn't enforced, there's no Driving Range. It's a few mats with a net about 15 ft in front of you with beat to crap balls. Don't hit these if you're worried about leaving major scuffs/marks on your clubs. We were paired with another duo, seemed nice got incredibly drunk by hole 8-9 and it was funny at first but they got out of control. Playhorsing in the carts and almost hitting multiple things and skidding, group in front had to tell them to quiet during a tee off as they were so belligerent and yelling. By hole 14 it wasn't even fun anymore. Fairways were nice and well maintained. Greens were amazing rolled great at a pretty fast pace. Narrow off tee boxes. Always gone off left or right of the fairway, on what felt like every hole. Can't miss fairways here, definitely not forgiving. Not sure if for the price if it's a place I'd want to personally come back. If I'm invited, I'd might.
Loved the greens
Greens are awesome, however the course conditions were absolutely horrible. From little or no sand in the bunker (more like dirt) and the fairways with more kinds of grass and mud than you can imagine, I was not at all impressed.
On the plus side, the value is decent for what you get.
Good community course
Good course to enjoy golf, little short for regular player. There are a couple groups in front play little slow.
This course is great for all levels
Upland Hills golf course is beautiful, well maintained, with friendly staff and a great 19th hole. I wish I still lived close so I could play there more often. My only negative comment is that they seemed to be way overbooked, making for some very slow play and up to four sets of golfers on several holes. We still had a great time and appreciate the staff and the great condition of the course.
Horrible customer service
Darrel! What a terrible person! He needs to be fired for not doing his job correctly. We had a tee time for Saturday morning at 6:40 AM and apparently there’s a tournament at 7 AM but they forgot to close off the tee time. I talk to him like it was cool don’t worry but help me out but he was super rude and unresponsive to helping us out. There needs to be a level of professionalism that Darrell completely does not have. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this dude really ticked me off. I’m never going to this golf course ever again and I’m gonna make sure that whoever I talk to I let them know the customer service that they have and that the course is terrible to play at.
