Saticoy Regional Golf Course

Tee boxes were uneven, lots of gopher holes, greens were patchy and bouncy. People don't seem to want to repair divot's theses days.We understood play would be slow, since it was the day after Thanksgiving. The kid in the pro shop apologized to me afterward and said he was the only one working today and had no help. He did not have control of starting people and there was confusion at the first hole, where everybody was asking what was their tee time. Golf carts were sparce and overpriced, that's why we walked. Left after playing nine holes. We won't be back. I'm a 25 handicap golfer, so not too good and my son is a beginner. We have played nicer courses for somewhat less money and enjoyed it.

The course has clearly been neglected in the last nine months since I last played it. Everything from the practice facilities to the course.

Not a country club .. so lower the condition ut it's fun. . playable .. small greens .. and best of all family friendly.

Cheap price for $18 holes of golf on a lovely weekend afternoon. The grounds are very well kept, although the course is small. Very walkable!

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Classic greens remain healthy after all these years. Good place to sneak some practice in too.

I generally play this as a 9 hole but decided to go around twice. It's a nice enough course that it's not boring doing it again. I've met a number of very nice people while playing. Some of the players are rather old, but they never seem to mind to let others play through. Greens are on the fast side and are very well maintained. Good sand in the traps.

This course is good to get in and out and play a round of golf. Awesome for someone new to the game who wants to learn. More of a easier course compared some of the other around the area.

Overall a fair course to help with your fundamentals.

This is a nice 9 hole course. The greens are in good shape and somewhat challenging. The fairways were a little better than some this time of year. Overall, a good course.

Just brought irons, I was surprised on how well the small greens were maintain. Few holes that you need to watch out fir other golfers so you don't get hit with golf balls flying from other golf holes. I think few holes they need to change from par 4's to par 3's for safety issues. Staff was helpful,

I find it a challenging and enjoyable experience. Ventura County offers a lot of great and affordable golf courses. But, for courteous accomodation and caring staff, I would rank Saticoy Regional high in satisfactory and friendliness.

Greens in good condition. This is a friendly course for the average golfer, no serious trouble.

Few bare spots on fairways , the rest are all great

Usually at a 9 hole course you get slow play, not here. Played 18 holes in 3 hours. Perfect Saturday morning round. apperance is a little to be desired, but holes are challenging including the very slow but well kept greens.

Back to back par 3's is difficult as the 2nd one is extremely short and makes you rethink a 3/4 wedge. Very few people in our little tournament par that hole!

This is a nine hole course that is very easy to walk with maintained fairways and greens. Layout is compact, always within sight of the small and limited clubhouse. Excellent course for young players learning the game. It is surprising that such a small course has all the practice facilities found at regulation length courses.
