About
Situated along the Ventura Harbor overlooking the Santa Clara River, Olivas Links (formerly known as Olivas Park Golf Course) enjoys coastal breezes that make it cool in the summer and warm in the winter, providing perfect conditions for golf year-round. The golf course has a links-style layout that closely follows the natural swales and curves of the landscape and separated by bands of fescue and wild grasses. The course is mostly open but there are some large pine trees scattered throughout. Its seaside location subjects the golf course to strong winds, especially on the front nine. The challenging layout offers multi-tiered greens and contoured mounding along the fairways. There are also deep bunkers strategically placed throughout Olivas Links, but the openness of the course places a stronger emphasis on hitting the right spot on the fairway or getting the correct angle of approach to the green rather than avoiding the bunkers.

The course was in great shape. Best course around for the price.
clean you tee markers
WE noticed yesterday all of your tee markers
are not horizontal and all of them are growing some moss on them. I think a simple power washer would clean them up and a little movement could place them back to horizontal so they can be read. They would make the marker more presentable

Pace or play good
Golfed with 3 other friend at 2:30 on a Saturday. Was able to finish 18 holes right at dusk. Great weather. Just wish players would fill in their divots
on the fairways and especially on the greens.
Homeless problem
This course is starting to have a problem with homeless people wandering around, and some on bikes.
No. 1 green was really the only green with issues. The overall course condition - fantastic !
