About
Situated along the Ventura Harbor overlooking the Santa Clara River, Olivas Links (formerly known as Olivas Park Golf Course) enjoys coastal breezes that make it cool in the summer and warm in the winter, providing perfect conditions for golf year-round. The golf course has a links-style layout that closely follows the natural swales and curves of the landscape and separated by bands of fescue and wild grasses. The course is mostly open but there are some large pine trees scattered throughout. Its seaside location subjects the golf course to strong winds, especially on the front nine. The challenging layout offers multi-tiered greens and contoured mounding along the fairways. There are also deep bunkers strategically placed throughout Olivas Links, but the openness of the course places a stronger emphasis on hitting the right spot on the fairway or getting the correct angle of approach to the green rather than avoiding the bunkers.

Always Green
Had my best round today. Fairways and greens were in great shape, as usual. This course could be challenging if you don’t keep your tee shots in the fairway. This is a great course to walk. Their practice facilities are the best around. Love playing this course!
Very Enjoyable Round!
I really liked this track! Playable areas in very good shape...staff was efficient and friendly; nice locals we were paired with. Greens very challenging especially if you're short-sided but if you keep it in the bowls/swales you can really score. A true links-style course. Not too many trees but loved the way they were shaped. Some really cool visuals out there... Will play again next time I'm through the area.
Practice Round
My son had a US Kids Golf event here so we came out to get in a practice round. The course was in great shape and had great pace of play.
A Gem
This was a real gem of a course. Good condition, fast undulating greens, championship course. Unfortunately there are a lot of local players who play slowly without any regard for the pace of play. So it takes some of the enjoyment out of the day when you arliterally waiting on every single shot. And I was playing with two beginners who were not exactly fast.
I love Olivas Links!
I love everything about it except for the signage between holes. We played w/ a couple who knew the course well which really helped. There are times you have leave the green, cross another tee box to the next tee box, all w/o signage. Otherwise, great round!
Play this course!
Absolutely love this course. Great links golf an hour outside of LA and the rate is a BARGAIN. The practice area is fantastic: putting greens, bunkers, chipping and natural turf driving range. I'd play this course every weekend if I could. The wind picks up in the afternoon and changes the dynamic. Be prepared to flight your ball low.

Great golf cool ocean breeze
Course is in very nice condition and because of that very crowded, but what course isn’t any more.
Great weather, great golf
Olivas is a lot of fun to play. Good layout, true greens that putt fast. Weather is always a plus. Driving range , chipping and putting practice areas are on point. The only negative is lack of a clubhouse.
