Too bad
I’d come back as soon as the greens come back. Shaggy at best, it looks as though they suffered heat damage and are being protected. Fairways also not in best shape. Good layout however. Want to give it another try.
Green problems
The greens on the front nine are in terrible condition. The first par 3 does not have a green at all. Many dead patches. Overall the course needs major work.
Summer weather hurt course
Love playing here but the summer heat has hurt the greens. Bunkers had weeds too. Fun layout and great staff. Hoping for rain and cooler temps so they can bring course back to way it normally is.
Very nice
Overall the course was in great condition. Especially the greens. They also had water on the course much to my surprise.
Hot Deal with GolfNow
Hot Deal on a hot day expecting a cloudy day, but pace was good, course was pretty empty. Some spots were bone dry, hope for some rainy weather. Oh, $25 with hot deal.
Great Value
Challenging layout, beautiful course. Bring bug spray
Fairly Empty
I had a Hot Deal via GolfNow, $25 and a discount code for $10 off, so paid $15 plus fees. Great deal since I only play a couple times a month and trying to get back into the game. I was a single, allowed to start 30 minutes earlier than scheduled with nobody on the green. Caught up with the couple in front of me around the 5th hole, but they kept up the pace. Hardly anyone on the course and I had some time to work on my game without being pushed. I will try to play this course more often if the grass keeps growing.
Carolina Colors
Course is in good shape for being as wet as it has been the last few weeks. Greens were in excellent t shape as most of the fairways. They are always trying to improve their grounds for better play. This course will be in pristine condition all summer long.
Carolina Colours
A very nice golf course - at a very reasonable price. Course meanders thru woods and swamp.
Accommodating fairways and good size greens.. Nicely bunkered, every hole is different with no gimmicks and to me - while I enjoy the front nine, the back nine is awesome. I like the curves of the fairways, routing thru the woods and swamps. Most importantly I enjoy the somewhat unexpectedly hilly terrain which was not expected in eastern NC.
Fairway grass is still coming in so you have some very tight lies. Greens are superb - hold well, ball rolls true, moderate paced and the greens have some undulations to them..
Pace of play was quite good. Played in 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon.
Wet and wonderful
Weather was iffy but course was very good. Would love to play in good condition. Good mix of holes. Greens very true. Hope to be back.
Fun Course
Fun course to play. Only issue is being winter all the grass is dormant in the fairways, so it makes it a little hard to hit good crisp shots. Greens were in excellent condition.
No snack bar
The course was in as good as shape as you could expect given the recent storms and amount of rain. The GPS on the carts is a great feature. The greens were in good shape and the cart paths are still pretty smooth ex pet for a few repair areas. Overall I love this golf course and layout. One of my biggest issues is the snack bar. This snack bar is not open at all Sunday-Tuesday. How does a golf course operate with a closed snack bar and serving hot dogs that sit in a crockpot all day, 3 days a week? Very disappointing. I hope enough people complain so that this changes soon.
Carolina Colours
The greens were in great shape as well as the bunkers. Overall, the course was in very good condition for late January. GREAT LAYOUT..
Beautiful Day to be Outside
Winter weather prevented quality time outside. This day was perfect and the course was/is in great condition. It was a good bargain and hopefully I/we can play here again!
