Very nice course. 4 stars on condition only because some of the sand traps were in pretty bad shape (standing water and wash outs), probably due to thunderstorms the night before. But greens and fairways were in very nice condition.

Really nice greens and fairways. However, the "light" rough surrounding the fairways and greens was too tall; enough to lose my ball a few times which was disappointing.

I don't know what course others are playing looking at their reviews. But other than the first time I played this course in Feb. 2017, it's been a major disappointment. Not sure I'll be back which is very too bad given the great layout.

There were dozens of nutsedge weeds in the fringe of every green. They appear as tufts of grass like like four inch high pin cushions and could impact any shot from off the green.

It had rained two days prior and every bunker was hard and had not been tended to. They should have been declared unplayable.

The girl at the register was pleasant. The electric carts are great and the courtesy towels on them are a nice touch.

Very nice course, all holes kept in very good shape. Can’t see any other holes while traveling through the course as they are stretched out throughout the community. Lovely trails getting to next hole as well.

Staff is pleasant and overall great golfing experience.

The very dry spring has created some very hard fairways. The good news: my shots went MUCH farther. The bad news;: some of my shots went TOO far! I love the course layout. The greens are true and it is WELL worth the money and time to go to this course.

The staff is very friendly and the course is well maintained. One of my favorites.

Would not want to play again with cart paths only, walking may have been a shorter distance, (12,0000 steps!) I've played here before, like the course, layout, greens good even though recently aerified.

We visit New Bern every year and not sure why we missed playing at Carolina Colours. It was fairly early in the spring, but the course was in good condition. It is a wonderful course and the staff was very friendly. It has just enough challenge to make it a fun golf day we will definitely play there again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. Much improved since the last time I had played it. Greens were in very good condition as were the fairways. Traps need some attention. The staff provided a "handicap flag" which allowed me to enjoy the course even more.

Always enjoy playing at Colours. Friendly people and interesting nice course.

The course was in excellent condition for February. A couple sand traps needed work, but I'm not complaining. It's always a pleasure playing the Coulors.

This would be a 5 star course for me if not for the rough grass. On many holes the grass is just high enough to hide a ball, even a few feet off the fairway, thus frustratingly slowing down the game. The last time I played I vowed it would be my last, I was so angry. I'll probably be back, though, but with pocket full of cheap balls.

It's an amateur course, no need to slow the game down and have it to be even more irksome for something as simple and controllable as the first cut.

Almost no flaws on the greens! Challenging, very nice course and facilities.

Anxious to play again in the Spring!

Very well run facility. Very nice shape, especially for the time of year. Fine layout but a little too open for "high " drama but certainly good enough, dare I say it, the average golfer.If I'm back in the area will give it another try.

This is a great course! Accurate tee shots are rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The greens roll fast but true. There are some very unique holes that are a lot of fun to play! I really love this course!
