About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Schaumburg course in great condition
Schaumburg golf course is in great shape. The only issues i ever have there are with clubhouse staff. The majority are friendly and helpful and others just seem salty and not very friendly. I walked in today and didnt have my mask on. It was mentioned to me they still require masks. Yet the staff didnt have masks on or they were on their chin. Im 6 ft away from everyone, they have plexiglass between register and patrons, letd get over the mask thing already. Uts like sponges in cups. Seriously who is sitting around in congress saying you know what sponges saves lives. I can touch anything i want in the clubhouse but god forbid i toch a flagstick. I believe spinges are finally out now at schaumburg so that is splendid. If anyone is wondering if i got my vaccine, the answer is yes. Got my shingles shot yesterday.
Cold Day
Course is rounding into shape from the cold spring. Disappointing fee for cart rental. Golf Now Hot Deal rate was great but a $20.00 cart fee defeats the purpose, especially for a senior rate.
Schaumberg
Great course. Well kept, and challenging, but not impossible for the average or new golfer. Greens are fast. Definitely recommend. I seriously have no complaints whatsoever. Probably will be back in a few days.

Had fun course in good shape was surprised to have to pay for cart when I got to the course
Don't Miss
This oasis in the middle of Schaumburg is enough to test all levels from novice to advanced. Recently re-built, the greens are tough, the bunkers are perfect and there are plenty of challenges all around. Finish your round with a great meal or drinks on the patio. Don't sleep on this place.
My home course and I like seeing the greens getting work done.
Yardage markers wrong
Course overall was in great condition except that the yardage markers were off or nonexistent. We walked the course never saw any yardage posts in any of the fairways. And oddly enough, the few yardage markers we found throughout the fairways were mostly wrong. For example, we were about 200 out from a hole and found a nearby marker that said 87. Then we walked roughly 100 down the fairway and found another marker that said 257 from this closer point. Not sure if the course was recently redesigned, but a bit annoying to not have any distance guidance throughout the round.
