Solid option for winter or summer
Played 2nd of Jan following a night of heavy rain. The course was in great condition considering the poor weather. Great layout which keeps you thinking and decent pace of play over all.
Only small issue was some of the greens were a little weathered, mostly due to lack of pitch mark repair rather than anything else, minor point though, over all in brilliant condition. Highly recommend this course in winter especially but also played in summer and was equally impressed. Well priced as well.

Very enjoyable round
A very enjoyable round at an interesting and well kept course. Some good, challenging holes where club selection is very important. We were a 2 ball behind a few groups of 4 balls who were all very polite and invited us to play through. Greens were true and consistent. An enjoyable round and I would happily play there again.

Ashley Wood Golf 4 Ball
Good quality course and reasonably priced. On a very hot day the staff were very helpful in letting us rent a buggy from the 4th hole onwards. Easy to book tee times and pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our game.

As Enjoyable As Ever
Unfortunately my arrival coincided with a couple of hailstone downpours, however the course was in as excellent a condition as ever and I had an enjoyable round

Brilliant round
Lovely course, I didn’t expect the course to play so well this time of year. Not a single puddle on the course and the greens were perfect condition. Can’t wait to get back and play another round

Not muddy
Pro very friendly n shop and explained the course lay out and that we were playing off winter tees. Food & coffee good value in clubhouse which had a welcoming atmosphere.
Course played well and greens were true, they were out mowing the fairways and green keeper had a few words with us about conditions etc.
After round very little mud on trousers just a post round brush ff.
Overall fair challenge of golf in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Summer time
This is a great course to play, it's very well laid out and the condition is good although the grass is long if the ball ventures off the fairway. The tee off areas are particularly well maintenained.
Good value course
Challenging in places. Good layout and greens. Despite it being busy the pace was ok.

Great course
Another great round of golf challenging but a bit of forgiveness too, greens are great and course in general good condition , really like it here, and I played well which is a bonus!!!
Nice pint after and I highly recommend playing here , harder in the summer

Temporary greens
6 temporary greens, just flags stuck in the ground, very poor
