Atherstone Golf Club

We played on a cold frosty morning, but that didn't deter us. Played of several temp tees and greens. This was to protect the course. 3 holes were closed, but again down to weather we've had and winter conditions. Really enjoyed the holes we played. No really long holes, that suits my game. Variety of holes was good. Up hills, downhills, dog legs and blind greens. Will definitely go back in better weather. Members we met were a great help and friendly. Thank you Atherstone golf club.

A good golf course and excellent value for money.

Considering the wet conditions it was in good condition.

Some temporary mats but all the greens were open and playable

Quite hilly in places so need to be a bit fit to get around without a buggy.

Plenty of ground staff who are maintaining the course.

Just a feeling of a friendly and welcoming club.

Arrived at the course for the first time. Friendly staff and members gave me some advice before teeing off. What an interesting course this is, Nearly all the holes have something about them. The condition of the course was excellent considering the weather over the past few days. The course is quite hilly and you find yourself playing all kinds of angles. Lots of blind shots too. But overall a wonderful test. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll drag a few with me.

Amazing course with loads of cariety regarding golf holes!

Staff were mega friendly and also every member we met was friendly and helpful.

No pro shop so make sure you’re stocked with balls before you arrive

Good course, greens run true. Quite a few blind tee shots but not too difficult. Great staff and very friendly members who helped direct us to next tees and letting us play through. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

First time I have played in as met my son for a game . I must admit I loved this course as it was picturesque and in great condition for the time of the year . Great choice of different layout of holes . I must admit I had my best round of golf this year that considering there are a lot of blind greens was a great achievement . Will certainly be going back again

Great course, some lovely holes and blind shots! One wish would be for it to be more signposted to know where holes play.

Albeit short this course offers plenty of challenging holes. Many tee shots and approach shots are blind. The conditions of the course was very good especially considering the time of the year. While a lot of rain has passed recently only second part of hole 12 and a few bunkers were under the weather. Greens and tee boxes in good condition.

Brilliant course even after all wet weather we had . Excellent condition greens true and fast . Fairways lovely condition . Just a brilliant place to play will be playing here again .
