Belfry Golf Club - PGA National Course

Excellent long tough course been a high handicapper tip stay out the bunkers

Pretty average course one that you won’t remember in a months time .

Greens were good however the rest of the course was scruffy !

Big tip , take your own drinks as the half way house has London Club prices for drinks ..

Overall glad we only paid less than 40 pounds as it’s not worth much more ..

Such a shame ..

Good experience to see the course

Was wet and not in the best condition really

Would be better in summer but the prices are extortionate so probably wouldn’t play again

Not the best time to play due to weather conditions as the fairways and rough held a lot of water but will try again in the summer.

Overall a good course layout

A little disappointed to have paid £60 for the round only to find it advertised for £35 a few days before playing. Won’t be using your services again

Had a great couple of days at The Belfry but found the bar and food to be very expensive.

Inland Links style golf course, great mix of water hazards and bunkers. Fast undulating greens that were like playing on glass now, can't wait to return in the summer and see how they are then.

Had a great day playing the PGA national course, amazing value for money the greens were unbelievably quick for saying its meant to be the winter!

It is a long course so be prepared for a 5 hour round but the staff made us aware of this beforehand. Only negative would be the price of food and drink etc in the bars, i know its a big named venue but it just seems over the top for everything

Everything was great, couldn’t really complain about anything apart from as a group of 3 people that were walking we kept catching up to a 2 ball in front of us who had a buggy, but that was the only slight problem

Staff were great and helpful, facilities were very good and the course was great

Last time I played here was terrible, cold, windy and raining, what a difference brilliant day so got to fully enjoy this course it’s long and testing for me only driving 200yds course got me but my playing partner plays off 5 so he could keep up with it , it’s a great course and we didn’t have anyone behind for about 20 minutes 2 ball came behind us on 17th , greens were fast and testing , definitely will return again

Only criticism I can make is the price of drinks in the bar , very expensive.

Challenging course overall

This was my second time played in PGA National Course in the last 5 days. The green was frozen.. Very difficult to put.. the staff forgot to tell us about the green condition/speed, flag position etc, but the fairway was great! Pity some of ball cleaning kits weren't working. Compare with Brabazon course is a bit under par but definitely better than the Derby course...

The course isn't easy. Lots of bunkers and very tricky greens.. front 9 due to the frozen green, I had disaster, finished with 52, last 9 41, I'm kind of playing my course handicap... Well, I'm happy with the results, as I'm only started to pay golf 15 months ago...

In the summer time, definitely want to come back to play again. Want to beat 90...
