Grate course
What a day of golf for dads birthday really good fun
Shotgun Bargain
Played this under a great deal the Belfry were doing this winter, a shotgun start at 10:30am that was 25% of the usual green fee. February is cold & its going to be wet but wear the right clothes & you can still enjoy the challenges this course throws at you. We all know the 10th & 18th & if you don't enjoy those, I suggest you give up the game. However the Brab is more than just those two holes, yes there are a few mundane ones but the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th & 16th are very good in their own right. It had been very wet before we played & the walk from tee to fairway was a bit of a bog at times but the fairways themselves & the greens were still in good order (many of them had been hollow tined but they still ran true). We went round in bang on 4hrs, so i hope the Belfry do more of this type of offer in the winter months, recommended at this price!
Don’t play until the greens are playable!!
The course was saturated and the greens had been spiked, we were really looking forward to playing a top 100 course for £42.
The whole day was a let down, if we had been informed of the conditions before we booked we would have gone elsewhere.
Don’t waste your money until the greens recover.

Needs Marshalls.....
We arrived to discover that our tee time via Teeofftimes had not been confirmed on the golf clubs booking system. However the pro shop team found a way around that to allow us to tee off at roughly the allocated time. The only problem with the golf course was the varying conditions of the greens (some recently holotyned, others top dressed) which at this time of the year is totally acceptable given the price we paid. However 5 hours 40 mins for a 3 ball with just a 4 ball in front was not. Granted the golf club cannot be held entirely responsible for the behavior and lack of etiquette of a few if its customers however on a bitterley cold day the experience was ruined by a lack of authority on the course and spoilt by a group who clearly felt they were entitled to the course exclusively. I have played here previously without issue under similar circumstances so I wouldn't be put off returning with the fresh proviso that it could then turn out to be a very long day (including two extensive drives to the venue itself). A shame on this occasion but I'll look forward to writing a more positive review following my next visit.
Belfry Brabazon
Some memorable holes but overall the course is very overrated. Fairways and bunkers were poor. Greens were ok.
the brabazon belfry
well looked after course ,would recommend to any one very challenging
The belfry
Course was fantastic
Very busy so little slow play
Defenetly will play here again
Amazing Course in great condition
Always wanted to play the Brabazon and it fully met all my expectations. The Course was in Great condition and I feel privileged to have now played on the same course as some of my golfing heroes.
Good round on a day where the weather was unreal
Me and a friend went and played at 9.20 on Friday and it was absolutely spot on, we had no body pushing us at all, and the course was perfect as you'd imagine. We both play off 16 and we struggled with certain holes but the majority of holes aren't too challenging. Just challenging enough to make it fun. We only payed £34 each as it was a "hot deal"
Well worth full price though
Super - Cannot fault.
This was an exceptional afternoon.
The Belfry staff were all so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The course was in very good condition and the greens (I am sure) were not cut as they would be for competition, which meant they were very playable for us amateurs, but we're very consistent.
The buggies were superb as the Golf GPS system installed was a brilliant help.
I would advise any player to use extreme course management as the water hazards are well placed to drown the balls of any over ambitious golfer!
The Golf shop is big and well stocked for some must buy equipment, accessories, consumables or just souvenirs of the visit.
Sams Bar was lovely and we ate and refreshed after the round.
I thoroughly recommend this course as a must play.

Always enjoy coming back to play the Brabazon, as hard as it is, its always a fair test, and always in good condition, when other course locally are struggling due to the wet weather.
It rained all night prior to our game and yet it all had drained away by 8.30am.
Its normally £150 to play, so to get it through Tee Times for £55, was as they say a Brucie Bonus.
Daniel
Played for the 2nd time now and never fails. Would recommend to any golfer out there.
Brabazon
Had no concerns about the course but had booked a 10 30 tee time as traveling from Liverpool only to reduce a call to say that tee was fully booked several days later and we would have to move to 7 50. M6 was shut so arrived late. Fortunately that moved our tee time but this made the day feel rushed. Be aware if booking a hot deal!
Fabulous day
My friend and I really enjoyed our day playing the Brabazon. We were made very welcome in the golf shop and it was great to see the history of the Ryder Cup and The Belfry. It was a cold day with frost and hard greens which caused some frustration with our golf. However, it was a lovely Winters day and we really enjoyed our day on The Brabazon.
A Great Day of Golf
The First time playing the Brabazon course, was made to feel very welcome by the staff, weather wasn't the best but only a few drops of rain, would love to play the course in the summer but only if the price was right.
Put this one on your bucket list
Lovely course with lots of tradition and history. There are some great signature holes that present a real test of golf, that said there are also a few holes that are nice but nothing to write home about.
The club house and hotel are great for food, comfort and service. Well worth a visit.
