The Brabazon!! Absolutely fantastic day out. All the staff are extremely friendly. The club shop is great too. Finally the course, it’s absolutely incredible, I’ve never played a golf course like it. It was in fantastic condition when we played. Would definitely recommend a trip there and it’s one you just have to visit one day
The Brabazon
Course itself is in unbelievable condition, heading to the summer I can only imagine it will get even better, staff were lovely, drinks a little bit pricey but that’s the only negative, p.s go for the green on the 10th
Super Friendly Atmosphere
The course was amazing and lived up to our expectations in terms of playing such an iconic place, even given the time of year and conditions.
But what stands out for me was the friendliness of the staff .. especially the pro who helped us with carry bags and was such a helpful friendly guy.
Amazing
Wow what a course, amazing condition even after a week of rain.
Great course
For the time of year the course was in great condition so no complaints at all and worth every penny....staff from club house to green were also fantastic
Thoroughly enjoyable
Always a pleasure to play the Brabazon. There was a bit of maintenance going on which is to be expected in February. Greens in pretty rough condition and course was set-up off the back tee's which added an extra challenge!
However, the layout of the course is fantastic. There are a number of iconic holes, which are great fun to play.
We all had a really good day and are already looking forward to a return visit.
Stunning course but very challenging not for beginners
Amazing course can't wait to try again. Definitely not for beginners though and be prepared to lose a lot of balls in the water
Greens awful
Greens were full of sand like putting through a bunker, a poor job had been attempted at pitting n sanding the greens, played here before and everything was excellent but this time was worse then local municipal.
condition of course
Way too much sand on the greens made it impossible to get a decent score, putting was a lottery! The tee boxes were not great and the fairways poor even though dry. Many of the bunkers had no rakes! A disappointing experience considering its the Belfry!
Beautiful Course
Thoroughly enjoyed the round on the Brabazon.
It was pretty much as good as I expected.
The only downside was that the greens were heavily sanded and didn't run true. Now I completely understand that they have to maintain the greens to the highest of standards, but when you play a championship course, a big part of that experience would be to play on championship quality greens so alas that was not the case today.
Fabulous
Played the Brab a number of times & it never fails to excite, especially the most famous holes. Course in really good condition for a wet January. The shotgun start works well for the pace of play at 4.5hrs. Only gripe was practise green shut, so nowhere to practise putting. I’ve previously had 5-10mins on the previous green to whatever hole you’re starting from but this time we got told in no uncertain times to get off the greens prior to the start! However at only £60 to play, I’ll happily go back.
Brabazon
For January the course was in decent condition, good value for £60 and a good idea to have a shotgun start.
Great challenging course
Played on a very cold and frosty morning so conditions were very difficult but the course was in very good condition for this time of year. Would consider paying the higher green fees to play again here in the Summer months.
Brabazon
Good value for money in January when my home course is shut because of being waterlogged, course was very wet as expected but good to get a game of golf in. Really nice bacon bap included and post round food was really nice albeit slightly expensive.
Brabazon
Course conditions poor for this course. Played this time last year in much better condition. Really surprised how much they charge when course not at its normal standard. Disappointed as I played with my low handicap son here for his first time. He was more disappointed than me!
