About
Bentham Golf Course is situated in the Three Peaks area of North Yorkshire and has stunning scenery of Ingleborough and the surrounding hills. Often referred to as the 'Augusta of The Dales', Bentham Golf Course is a beautiful parkland course with tree lined fairways, multiple lakes and lush fairways. The course welcomes golfers of all abilities, offering an enjoyable round to less experience players and a challenge to those lower handicappers. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 10th that has you look down from an elevated tee to a tempting green which lies just on the other side of a stone walled pond.
The venue offers a great drink selection and some catering in the clubhouse which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a post-round drink and watch fellow golfers complete their round from the patio over looking the 18th. There is a pro shop on site too which is fully stocked with the latest brands and apparel, where custom club fitting is available. There is also a driving range and new practice chipping area under construction ready for the 2021 season. The course is home to Wenningdale Escapes who have on offer luxury glamping pod and lodge stays. These can be booked for a family holiday or for a golfing getaway.

A cheap round at an improving club
Last minute choice to go with my son to play this as was a great price, great welcome in the pro shop and no hold ups on the course, i played a few years back and the course and facilities are much improved.
A must to play for price if near.
Well kept course.
Course was in excellent condition . The green keeping staff are doing an excellent job . A credit to the club 👍👍👍

Course was Okay but pace very slow with members zipping between holes. Seemed like many stayed in nearby caravans and just jumped on whenever/wherever was free.
This meant backing up on many tee boxes and long waits.
I also was told to check in at clubhouse but nobody was there for 10mins. Eventually left and went to tee box to find some members had taken my tee time and then lectured for me for being late and said I was ‘lucky’ I could still play. But I would have to wait behind their mates in the group behind (both four balls).
Great par threes.
Course in very good condition, the greens just a little slower than we expected.
Certainly recommend anyone no matter what standard to come and play this golf course, plus great views all round the course.

My first time playing Bentham.Could not believe how well the course was presented.For a £25 green fee was not expecting a course as well laid out as this or in such good condition.
We played off the yellow tees which were perfect for me.Bigger hitters or low handicappers may prefer to play from the whites.
A great day out.Even if you had a bad knock here the stunning views would make up for it.
Played here when it was a 9 holer nice to come back as an 18 in fantastic condition work going on around the cours preparing for the new accommodating but dosent affect play superb views and greens were excellent would happily return

Really enjoyed playing Bentham GC, beautiful course and outstanding views across the Yorkshire Dales.
Weather was perfect as was the hospitality and facilities.
Very interested in the Lodges on site which are ideally placed for a Golfing break.

Beautiful scenery
Played Bentham a few times now, the course is in fantastic condition and the scenery makes a lovely backdrop for a round of golf.
Staff are always helpful and friendly.
Only gripe was the pace of play, tee’d off mid Saturday afternoon and took 4hrs 24mins to complete 18holes, to be fair I’ve never had this issue out there before normally you can get round in under 3 and half hours.

Absolute bargain of a course for a £16.99 hot deals on Golf Now you can't go wrong,great course stunning views and best of all one of the BEST breakfasts ever,highly recommended.
Course is in great condition considering the rain we’ve had. The greens were really fast or my putting was crap. I really like Bentham the views are incredible with some really nice holes. Got stuck behind a women’s pairs match so it took a while( just over 4 hours ) to get round
