Always like to play this links course once a year with my Mate Clive. We teamed up with Phil & Mike. Had a really good afternoon. Good course in great nick. Very windy but enjoyable. Good company. Trevor

This was my second visit here.

A played a few years ago and nothing really stayed with my about the experience.

All I remembered was it was in good condition and an open course with quick greens.

The condition of the course today was perfect. It was immaculate.

The course it’s self requires simple golf. Like all courses really. Just keep it in the short stuff. There’s no trees but the rough is punishing. It gives you a relaxing sense to unwind your shoulders and let rip, but I wouldn’t. It is a lovely course but not overly challenging. The walk is easy. The wind wasn’t howling today,, just a nice breeze that did make you think about club selection a little more.

We were stuck behind a two ball for 11 holes which was a bit frustrating. One of the lads I think might of been his first or second round. I know we all start somewhere so just plodded along behind them.

Members and the guy in the pro shop were very pleasant..I would Recommend the course to anyone. It is lovely. Not played many courses this summer where all the courses was immaculate as this one.

Great course, plush very tidy fairways and lightening fast greens that run true. Great test for all golfers with very deep rough all around the course and plenty of bunkers to catch your drives. Was surprised how cheap it was for the standard of course and will 100% be playing again.

Played today and the course was brilliant. Very well kept fairways and the greens are lightening fast and run very true. Very testing course with deep rough hugging nearly every fairway so need to be straight but makes it a great test for all golfers. Will definitely be going back on another trip to Blackpool.

To start ordered a buggy which had been given to someone else so a poor start. But the pro was very good and lent us 2 push trolleys. We teed off on the 1st and the Green was clear we then for the next 8 holes waited on every tee for a 4 ball who would not wave us through. So front 9 took nearly 3 hours back nine 1.5 hours after they stopped for a coffee. But the greens were fantastic and some great holes so apart from the pace we had a great day and the weather helped

very enjoyable round of golf.travelled alone and joined up oat the 1st tee with 3 members who were more than happy to accommodate me.very friendly in these strange times.course and greens were in excellent condition and well presented.some very difficult holes especially so on the back nine.loved all the par 3's.would definitely recommend and only 2 miles outside of blackpool tower.ideal for a golfing break.catering was very limited due to covid restrictions but all in all a very good day out

played here with my son yesterday for the first time and we were both made very welcome and the course was in fantastic condition

Very friendly staff and members..

Fantastic course in mint condition. Member move round the course quick but was well worth the money

What a fantastic course. The greens are pristine, I’ve played a few courses in Blackpool and this is by far the best. Great links course with friendly green keepers and members. Booked a round straight after the 18th.

We wanted to play blackpool north shore as the website states the course is in pristine condition: also lots of reviews stating it’s in fantastic condition during the winter. Well here is an honest review of our experience. This course is a great layout. Few nice par 3s. However it’s far from pristine, I’ve played on pristine links courses and believe me this is far from pristine. Yes maybe it’s pristine in summer but def not in winter. the whole course is very wet and areas of the course is very boggy. There is also few temp greens which we weren’t made aware of prior to booking. For what we paid I feel there is much nicer courses around so for that reason it wudnt be my first choice in the future but I would return if it was much cheaper as i feel it doesn’t warrant the £21 each we paid today.

We played end of October when there’s been a lot of rain and you wouldn’t have known the course was in great condition, been sand based means you can get away from wet muddy courses and enjoy playing somewhere like this makes winter more enjoyable!

Would recommend this course to everyone!

An overall excellent enjoyable day at this course. From the staff in the clubhouse to the pro in the shop, all were so professional in everything they done.

I have in the past always been reluctant to play links courses but after playing this one I would highly recommend it.

Course was in excellent, and the greens were in A1 condition. Credit to all involved in this club, this includes the members.

Would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.

After failing to qualify for the Senior British open around Fairhaven the day before my caddy and I decided to have a game close by before heading home. Using Golf Now for the first time Blackpool - North Shore came up for £19 each. What a bargain. They accommodated us and we’re extremely helpful. The course is better than it looks from the clubhouse. If the rough was slightly longer this would have been a tough test. As it was it was a highly enjoyable course in superb condition. The fairs were the best I’ve played on in some time. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and will provide a good challenge for scratch golfers whilst still being enjoyable for higher handicappers.
