Blackpool Park Golf Club - Stanley Park Course

The course was half closed and the holes open where very wet and not advisable to play. It should have ambient fully closed. Only 2 others on the course they came off early to. Not happy I had to pay full price. Staff did say I could play the open holes a few time but I did not after the course being g so wet.

I’ve been here twice now, both times with my son and we have loved it. The staff are so lovely, especially the lady that works behind the desk, always very pleasant and was very nice to my son, who can sometimes be a little anxious.

The course is well-looked after so hats off to the groundskeeper and its also very forgiving which is nice for people just starting out golf. Reasonably priced and will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you.

This is a good course if you want to have to wait 15 mins for every shot, get stuck behind 5 and 6-balls, enjoy the smell of a fat dubie, and like greens that are basically just a fairway

Good course getting better some of the greens have had disease damage but are recovering

Once the greens are sorted the course will be fantastic and excellent value for money.

This course should be closed for winter, it's not fit for purpose. It's more expensive than better, well maintained courses. The greens are squelchy and balls gets plugged on green, also impossible to judge speed of putt when the ball gets stuck in water.

The more you play the more it f's you off that you have wasted £25 slapping mud around.

The course is not worth paying £25 at all, the ground is like ploughing a paddy field for rice and the greens are not maintained, very disappointing course, I suggest not to go there I have played other courses and are not swampy and the greens are well maintained and looked after. Sorry but it’s the truth.

The course is not up to standard, not maintained greens are terrible, course is too boggy and not worth what’s paid to play, wish I had seen the reviews I would’ve not gone and I’m not going there anymore paying 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️😩

The course was so wet, I know it’s the start of November but it was terrible. The greens were worse than most fairways, really long, bare patches that had been filled with sand. Just not an enjoyable round of golf.

Good progress going here since the Links takeover. Well done to all involved. May it continue because this is potentially an excellent course and a great facility for the people of Blackpool and surrounding areas

The course still needs work doing but a vast improvement from my last visit. The grounds staff are obviously working on it and I realise it won’t happen overnight but overall a great evenings golfing. The only spoiler was the four ball in front of me were so slow. Great value for money though and still one of my favourite courses to play.
