Boldon Golf Club

greens were excellent....massively improved since I played it a few year ago.

This was the first time I have ever played here and I’ll definitely be back. There are some superb holes, some long some short but a lot of them require a bit of thinking about instead of just trying to smash it down the middle! The course is in great condition and I cannot wait to play it again.

Interesting and challenging course but it was one I would love to play again. Highlight was the par four 4th 254 yards downhill all the way just drags you into going for the green and I was successful with one of the best drives I have ever struck to find the green.

Chap in the pro shop was very helpful and very customer friendly.

Really like playing this course with lots of wide and slim fairways but not too challenging.,

First time playing here and absolutely loved everything was perfect about it

Only managed to play 6 holes but when came off Pro Shop said we could phone in & rebook on another day due to bad weather which was very kind of him so we will definitely playing again.

After receiving a courtesy round as there was a Durham seniors comp on at my home club i rang Boldon pro shop to book a buggy as i have a health problem and unable to walk the course.I was told that they only had a few buggys and they were booked,i was not offered any alternative time to play and use a buggy when they became available so therefore could not play.Very disapointing service.

Played solo, but never stood a chance of being played through. Just over 4 hours for round. Realised why when I saw 4 members spend over 6 minutes looking in rough for a lost ball - only reason it was not longer was that they found it. I later learnt that there was a comp on that day, so he should have declared lost ball after 3 minutes. I better he never marked his card for the penalty.

A few bare patches on a couple of greens but overall the course was in very good condition.

A couple of unusual holes with mounds/ rough breaking up fairways making club selection interesting

First time playing Boldon, really enjoyed the course a good mixture of long and short holes. The practice area could be sign posted better. The nets on the practice area for driving were loose (not a big problem but things like this getting fixed would really improve the look) Some of the greens were a bit bobbly but this is understandable with the amount of rain we have had this month!

Will definitely be returning here! The staff were very friendly and I spoke to a couple of members who were very welcoming.
