Good course,great views!

Loads of car park spaces,Pro shop had my score cards waiting for me with my name on!No problems using facilities.

Good layout on wide open course .Shot a good score and only lost one ball on 17th pond.

Great views all the way up to Newbiggen and down to Seaburn. All in all money well spent, recommend it!

A lovely local course!

From the moment we arrived, the staff at check-in were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a great tone for the day. The course itself was in excellent condition — fairways well kept and the greens beautifully maintained, offering a smooth and consistent roll throughout the round.

The par 3 holes were particularly enjoyable, with decent yardages that provided a fair challenge without being overly punishing. The weather was on our side too, which definitely added to the experience.

Pace of play was spot on — no long waits and everything flowed nicely. The only drawback was the layout of a few holes that cross paths, which meant we had to pause and wait to tee off at times for safety. It didn’t ruin the round, but it’s something to be mindful of.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the signature par 3 hole perched atop a hill. The views from the tee box were absolutely stunning, and the hole itself was a joy to play — a perfect blend of beauty and challenge.

Overall, a great day out on a well-maintained course with friendly staff and memorable moments. Would definitely recommend!

Great course to play any time

Year round playing course - always in immaculate condition with amazing greens - plenty of scoring holes and very forgiving but easy to ruin your score.

Course is great. Weather wasn’t!

I’ve only played a few courses around this area but this is one of the better ones. Right on the coast with the last few holes spitting distance from the sea.

Chaos! A course of two halves.

We'll start with the good points. Stunning scenery, staff and members in the clubhouse were very friendly and helpful. The course is in good condition given the dry summer we have had. Greens and especially bunkers were excellent, possibly the best bunkers we have ever experienced (and we've seen a few)! The last 5 hole stretch after you cross the road is up there with the best area you'll ever experience. Now the bad bit. We booked on in the morning for 4.00 as it was one of the few courses nearby that was quiet. When we turned up, it became apparent that it was fully booked. This can happen but unfortunately, showed that there are too many holes (the first 13) for the land that is there. Everything is too close from holes 3-13, other groups were criss-crossing fairways everywhere and some had a serious attitude problem. The lack of course etiquette was staggering. If you can battle through the first 13 holes, the last 5 (where some groups don't play) iare almost worth the visitors fee alone. We won't be back though, too many uncalled for 'double teapots', no calls of 'fore' and angry young men who need to grow up - we can all do that but some choose to take the higher ground.

Beautiful

Beautiful course with amazing views and some really cool holes such as hole 15/16/17.

However 3 groups were booked into the same time slot, creating a massive amount of traffic and we struggled to get round in a good time as a twosome.

Some holes fairways are confusing and there tends to be players left right and centre whether they’re on ur fairway or not.

Great playing experience though and the conditions were great. Pure greens

Windy Whitburn

The weather was very windy, at times too windy to stand on the tee box. Overall a great course and good company from 2 young lads who had also booked on Golf now. will return again as we used to be members in 2022. Improved course layout from before.
